Ahead the All Progressive Congress (APC)wards Congresses billed to hold on 31st July,2021 the ruling party in the state, APC has adopted for Consensus Candidate to reduce cost and ranchor free Congress.

The adoption kind of Congresses adopted by the APC our Party is unique because it will minimise the cost of spending that would have accompanied the conduct of the Congress election,and reduces rancor that in most cases associated

with after myth of election.

The Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC)in the state Barr.Bashir Sati revailed this in an interview with journalists in Jos, Plateau state capital.

Alh.Bashir said the party is much ready for the wards Congresses slated for 31st July,2021,if you look at it carefully,the atmosphere is charged , almost all the card carrying members of the party are busy preparing their wards for wards Congress.

He said as APC family,the party has encourage consensus candidate.

We are encouraging people to all relocate back to their various wards and discuss the issue of Consensus Candidate on or before 31st July 2021.

He Said this singular action of APC is very unique,we are encouraging Consensus Candidate as much as possible ,to reduce the cost of the primary andthe wrong calls that always associated With the Party primaries.

Barr.Sati said, by the special Grace of God,and the reports I am having so far,so many of the local government have been able to come out of it successfully, and some are precisely rounding up today 26th July,2021.

He however debunked the rumour making around that most of the party results were doctored by some of the party stakeholders who want their candidate to win at all cost.

“I don’t think that is practically possible,but it’s politics you don’t rule out the possibility.Before now,we have the list of our stakeholders in the state and wards , as such ,we directed that stakeholders, and the appointees should put their head together so that they can produce the desire candidate for the party.”

Aside that,all the Stakeholders most write their names fully and signed in case of those things you are talking about which is manipulation so that we can be able to cross check with the list of the Stakeholders.

He assured that the leadership of the party in the state are marking every steps to ensure free fair and rancor free Congress .So it will be very difficult if you’re interested in A or B you go ahead and do whatever you feel.

On what the people of the state shall be expecting from the party came Saturday 31st July,2021, considering the credibility try to inject into the Conduct of the Congress,Alh.Sati said the people of the state didn’t have much to worry about as everything have been taken care off.

And stressed that the party’s leadership have directed that there should be Consensus as much as possible, where that fails, we shall have no option than to apply the Party’s primaries.

He said the party can only conduct primaries for those areas that the people could not be able to reach Consensus.

“Take for example in Jos North as case study,if by the special Grace of God,we have been able to have ten wards that is able to comply fully on Consensus,we know that we are going to conduct election for only four wards which has reduced the cost of election,time,and other things because we are now having smaller number to curtail as against the fourteen wards ,so we have only four .

So the same thing applies to all the local government in the state we are very mindful of that.

The two options before the party are by consensus, which is discussion between the people and agreed that this is what we want,ones the people are satisfied with what they produced by themselves,the party is given the license to go ahead.

He stressed that incase the people people are not able to arrive on Consensus,we refer them to election.

“We subject them to party’s primaries , there is no much difficult thing there.He maintained.

He called on the supporters of the party in the state to continue to be law abiding .

He advised any aggrieved member of the party to channel his complain to the appropriate channel as their complaint will be given the attention needed within the law.

And advise them not to put laws into their hands or doing it the way he feels .

Promised that the party will continue to carry everybody along.

Bashir emphasize on governor Lalong statement that the process should be people’s driven process not that it should hook in by selfish individuals .

That it should go down and allow people to make their choice , that is governor Lalong ‘s position.
