Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has pledged his full support for the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic registration exercise in the state.

Governor Kefas made this known on Friday during the flag-off ceremony of the APC e-registration for the Taraba Central and North zones, held at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the party leadership, particularly the state chairman, to ensure the smooth and unhindered conduct of the exercise across the state.

According to the governor, the APC e-registration initiative is aimed at establishing a credible, transparent, and verifiable membership system that guarantees equal opportunity for all party members.

Kefas emphasized that participation in the exercise is mandatory, noting that no member would be revalidated without completing the electronic registration process.

He described the APC as a party on the path of “revalidation and renewal,” adding that the initiative reflects the party’s renewed commitment to internal reform and growth.

The governor also called on youths and women to actively cooperate during the exercise, stressing that women remain the “backbone and mobilizers” of the party.

Earlier in his remarks, the APC State Chairman, Barrister Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi, commended Governor Kefas for his prompt response and continued support for the party’s activities.

El-Sudi described the e-registration exercise as a strategic pillar for the future success of the APC, noting that it would strengthen and modernize the party’s membership database.

“The e-registration exercise is a landmark initiative that will enhance transparency, streamline the party’s internal structure, and position the APC for future successes,” he said.
