The National Secretary of the Middle Belt Indigenous Tribes of North-Central Nigeria ,Hon Bob -dike Alaku has berated president Buhari as he described the president as leader who not sincere with his numerous excuses on the electoral law which he benefited from the direct and indirect primaries in 2015 and 2019 .
Hon. Bob-Dk in an interview with journalists in Jos , plateau state capital said the long delay of President Buhari refusal to assent to the electoral law, is a clear indication that the president has something at the back of his mind which he later followed his blunt refusal assent to the bill into law .
The National Secretary further said it is quite disturbing that in politics the government themselves are not sincerely in aspect of the electoral law which is supposed to be assented to by Mr President , added that president Buhari was beneficiary of direct and indirect primaries when he came into office in 2015 and 2019 respectively, it was through indirect primaries that gave him the victory.

According to him,PMB second tenure was done through the direct primaries that gave him victory, now why is he saying that the direct primaries is costly to run as a form of electorial system, he further emphasized on the indirect system of elections which is for the higher bidders ,and cost more money to run as money is use to buy the delegates votes by politians
Hon. Bob-Dk explained further that the direct primaries is the best option which is just like that of the 1993 zero party primaries aka option A4 during the zero party, so signing the electoral act into law is given Nigeria government complaint .

He lamented that the excuse given by Mr President lack merit and didn’t hold water ,so it behoved on the National Assembly ,they have the constitutional power if Mr President refuses to sign the electoral act into law by implications President Muhammadu Buhari is trying to draw Nigeria Democracy backward because of this singular act of his refusal to append his assent .
Hon. Alaku said if I were President Buhari ,I will assent to the Direct Primaries Bill not minding the consequences to avoid embracement ,if Mr president does this singular act the credit would go to him and he won’t be forgotten in the Political history of our great country .
He stressed that ,”I don’t know the advice given by the Attorney General of the Federation to the President on this ,well ,this is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria ,SAN ,and he knows the implications when INEC agreed that they have the capacity to transmit all the results then why are they bringing the issue of some local governments that don’t have networks which is only 74 out of 744 nationwide “.
Adding ,that around 200 LGAs that don’t have networks are only 40% compared to that don’t have networks in their various headquarters .
He pointed out that Turaya phone manufacturer has promised to provide the same networks through their own handset sometimes they said no network which can be understand so it is not late to provide all LGAs with the network before the 2023 general election .
