Governor  Caleb Mutfwang of plateau State has reiterated  his administration commitment in running  transparent and people oriented government that will have direct impact on the average citizens of plateau state.

Mutfwang called on those who contested with him at the poll  and still bitter of the election results, skeptical of supporting  the “Time Is Now” government to let go the electoral hatred and join hands with the government for the over  all interest of the state. 

Governor Mutfwang handed down the advice 7th May 2024 in his speech during the launching of Tin City Metro Buses held at the Old Government House Ray Field in Jos South Local government of the State.

He said during his electioneering campaign, he promised the people of the state ameliorate their suffering particularly  on area of transportation that is gradually becoming nightmare to average citizens of the state with direct negative impact on  businesses activities in the state. 

The Governor further said with the launching of Tin City Metro Buses today it would help to better the lives of our people from daily challenges as the buses is equipped with modern facilities and safety of the commuters in the State.

Said  the transportation which is expected to generate 500 to 1,000 employment has so far employed not fewer than 100 workers that would double in few days from now. 

He thank the traders in the State who were inconvenienced by the action of the government in other to clear the rought for the buses to ply, not to see it as  creating hardship on the people.

It is not our intention of government to create unnecessary hardship on people not even those who stood on scorching sun to vote for us.

Earlier on his welcome address, the General Manager Plateau Express Services Samuel Gwott said finally hope have return to the street of plateau.

Thank  governor Mutfwang for bringing back hope to the already hopeless of the state of things under the previous administration.

Thank the committee set up by the government to make today event possible. Appreciate the DG PEPSA, Samuel Dapiya, and his counterpart at JMDB for separate support to ensure the city is safe for the Busses to ply .

The Chief Judge of the state Justice David Mann thank  God for the initiative and prayed for the substance of the initiative.

The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dawan speaking on behalf of the State lawmakers , we will ensure that we put legislation in place that would solidify this noble initiative.
