The industrial court sitting in plateau state has adjourned the matter involving Pensioners on the plateau to 25th June 2024 for indefinite hearing.

In an interview with the counsel to plentiff Pensioners  said the court was forced to adjourned the matter to June 25th 2024 because the judges in the matter are currently on National assignment of Election Tribunal in some states.

When journalists wanted to know who are the Pensioners involved whether they from the State or Federal in the matter, the counsel to the plentiff declined comment on the ground  that is too early to diverge  those involved and the grounds for their demands.

He promised to disclose to disclose to the press in the next adjourned date when the matter must have entered indefinite hearing.

As early as 8:30am group of Pensioners beseeched the court waiting for the commencement of sitting before they were eventually briefed by their counsel that the court will not sitting due to the reason eailer highlighted in this report.
