Member Representing Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency in the National Assembly,Hon. Ambassador Daniel Asama has Condoled with Kwall District over attack in the area.
The member Condolence message is contained in a press statement dated 5th June 2025 signed by his Director of Media Brian Lang and made available to this medium in Jos.
According to the statement the honourable Member said he is heartbroken by the tragic and senseless loss of lives in the violent incident that occurred on June 3rd, 2025, in Kwall District, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The brutal killing of Sunday Ishaya, Joshua Mishi, and Range Kpeh has sent shockwaves across our constituency, leaving behind a trail of grief and sorrow.
On behalf of Hon. AMB. Daniel Asama Ago (Anki Kaboh), Member, House of Representatives for Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, we extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, the entire Irigwe community, and all those affected by this heinous act. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may their memories remain a source of strength and unity for our people.
Hon. AMB. Daniel Asama Ago strongly condemns these unprovoked and recurring attacks that continue to claim innocent lives and destabilize our communities.
As a people, we must rise above fear and division and work collectively to bring an end to this cycle of violence.
He stands in full solidarity with the Irigwe Nation and all peace-loving communities in Bassa LGA, and renews his commitment to pursuing all lawful means to secure justice for the victims, support peacebuilding efforts, and champion the restoration of safety and dignity in our land.
At this time of mourning, we pray for God’s comfort upon the grieving families and implore His divine healing upon our land. Together, we will overcome.
