The General Officer Commanding 3 Division and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH), Major General Ibrahim Ali has said, the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya is highly committed to improving the
Operational capabilities and welfare of troops and their families.
He stated this in Bauchi, while officially commissioning operational vehicles, block of 12 flats soldier’s accommodation as well as street lights and naming of streets in Shadawanka Barracks Bauchi.
The GOC/Commander OPSH, who was the special guest of honour at the event said, the vehicles were provided through the intervention of the COAS to improve and upscale the operational capacities of troops. He said, the gesture further validates the COAS vision of having “A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Mission within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria” and to provide the required resources and infrastructure to motivate Nigerian Army personnel in the discharge of their duties.
While commending the people of Bauchi state for the cordial and progressive civil-military relationship existing in the State, the GOC/Commander OPSH
thanked the COAS for his unrelenting support to 3 Division and his belief in the capabilities of troops to defeat all aggressions against the nation. ” what we are doing today has further affirmed the commitment of the Chief of Army Staff to improve the proficiency and family welfare of troops, which is in line with his mission of Professionalism, Readiness, Administration and Cooperation” General Ali averred.
The GOC and Commander OPSH, futher charged the troops and their families to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to maintainace culture and professional conducts. Earlier in his remarks, the Commander 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General JO Adeyemo said, the commissioning of the equipment and infrastructures were part of the stride of the Nigerian Army leadership to improve the operational capacity and better living condition towards ensuring motivated personnel to effectively and professionally discharge their duties. Rev. Fr. George Gorap, the Executive Secretary of the Plateau State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has issued a rejoinder to the false report and disinformation published in some online media blogs that I have bought all the houses in the Lowcost House of Pankhsin LGA.
This became very necessary and apperative for me to put forth my position since the publication of the false news and a meeting we had with the writers of the report who apologized for writing the report without verification, without finding out the truth and erroneously insinuating that I bought all the Low Cost Houses for business, when in fact, all the houses have been sold on to different interested citizens long before the report was blogged.
The bloggers, Mr. Yakubu Ventim and Mr. Alex Giwa in the presence of two Publishers profusely apologized and promised to publish any rejoinder given in line with the professional ethics of Journalism.

The Grade I Area Court sitting in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government of Plateau State, has issued another warrant of arrest on one Babangida Ahmed of Bukuru Jos South LG , plateau state for refusal to appear in court.
The presiding Judge of the area court give the order on Monday 7th Nov,22 during the continuation of hearing on criminal case instituted against the accused persons Babangida Ahmed by the state.
This is the second issuance of bench warrant of arrest on the accused person Babangida Ahmed for refusing to appear for trial as he is currently on bail.
However, the accused person Mr Babangida has been reported to have been arrested by the police in Bukuru , Jos South LG, plateau state, following the issuance of Bench of arrest by the court which led to his arrest.
The unremorseful Ahmed threatened to kill the Youth Leader of the community Ali Mallam who reported him to the police that make his arrest by the police possible.
However , some eyes witness has volunteered witness in court , that the accused person has threatened to kill the Youth Leader of the area for dare reporting him to the police which led to his arrest.
The accused is currently in detention till the next adjourned date , which is Dec,2022 for further hearing.
A Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos Division ,presided over by Justice Ishaku Kunda has adjourned to 22nd November, 2022 for ruling on two applications brought by Bolnanan Nigeria Ltd & 129 ors challenging the Managing Director of Bleneson Services Nig Ltd, Engr Lawson Ngoa.
Not fewer than 129 contractors handling the Governor Simon Bako Lalong Legacy projects , 9 of them have been reported dead because of lack of payment of contract sum of N26.6B after obtaining judgment against Bleneson Services Nig Ltd, contractors of Lalong Legacy Project .
The contractors have raised concern that after the Plateau State Government has terminated the first contract ,their fate is still hanging whereby they are now selecting individuals for payment when most of them the contractors no longer understand the arrangement as they’re appealing to the government to deal directly with their leader.
In an exclusive interview with the counsel to the Claimant barrister Yakuba Bawa said although matter came up for hearing of the motions, in fact we have two motions .
We already filed for summary judgment in favor of the Claimant.
This is a very special case, is not a case that is in line with the procedures that you are going to take witnesses.
This matter is based on affidavit evidence , there is no issue that you can say that it is irreconcilable in the matter.
These are matter that are straight forward. It has to do with what is called liquidated money demand that is already in the hands of the defendant .
They have worked , they have not been paid , this money is incalculable, and it is exact .
So the court provide that instead of wasting time, you can file writ of surmount ,you can file motion for Judgement to be entered because there is no argument concerning the figure that has entered , that the Claimant have done .
The second is that we want the court to grant interlocutory injection we have already granted an interim injunction , meaning that the defendant should not transfer the money in his custody to the 1st defendant which we have been able to do .
What is so delightful today , the defendant has already taken the service of a lawyer from Abuja , They served us with preliminary objection challenging the jurisdiction of the Court , that it doesn’t have the jurisdictional power to entertain the matter.
We on the side of the Claimant , we responded . In their contention, they are saying that all the Claimant we are representing they ought not have filed the matter in the first place , they ought to have resort to arbitration.
The construction agreement between the Claimant has already make provision under section 34 that on the event of dispute, they should resort to arbitration before litigation .
What we are saying ,they have missed it completely. In that same agreement, it gives a provision that says if any of the party breach the agreement, they have an ample opportunity of 10 days to send notice to say correct this breach which our client has done.
After writing the notice, they didn’t respond ,we went ahead to terminate the contract which is no longer exist in the eyes of the law .
Another thing they have done , which we in legal mind is unlawful , said our client can not approach court in Jos , unless Abuja, which we also challenge that they can’t decide for us where to decide our matter.
Today when they came to court , they didn’t file defence to our claim. Because what the law provided is that even if you have P. O, file defence to the claim , on that day both the P. O and the claim will be taking together , the judge will give consolidated ruling.
If their P. O succeed, it means our case fails , if doesn’t, the court can go ahead to trial the matter , if find merit on our case , it enter Judgement on our behalf.
Today we have challenged their preliminary objection , is wrong as we served them our process 7th July, 22, they suppose to file their memorandum of appearance which means intention to defend an action .
They didn’t file it until almost 15th September, 22, when we served them July so we have challenged their appearance , because that is the foundation of the matter, he further stressed that If your appearance is faulty, you ought not to be heard. At the end of the day,the court rules under 13 sub rule 1(2)(3)(4) respectively .
Bawa further narrated that the defense counsel urged the court to stand down for two hours,but the court said no you where given an ample opportunities but you failed to utilize it.
The court held that submission of the claimants counsel was done in accordance with the guidelines and proceedings of the state high court that we can continue with the matter.
Barr. Yakubu Bawa emphasized that the matter has been adjourned to Nov, 22 for ruling on two applications brought by the plaintiff counsel, adding that Our client in an efforts to make their lives better , they borrowed money from various banks to execute the contracts that they got from the plateau state government aka Lalong Legacy Project.
He further told this medium that ,”We have 129 contractors involved in this contract from the state government, they did their job , perform their own part of the bargain as far as the job is concerned” .
They didn’t fail in any way what so ever ,ln fact is the defendant that failed woefully on their part.
We make efforts to settle out of court . What the law provide is that ,as Counsel to the Claimant,is to write what is call pre-action protocol ,we obliged them the opportunity to pave way to settle the matter but they ignored us which gives us the opportunity to file the matter in court,he said .
We have reached this level ,we are praying that at the end of the day,the Judgement will be to our favor .
So that at the end of the day , Justice will be achieved.
The aggrieved contractors decried that the project cannot be re-awarded to a new contractors, because there is a pending case before the court of law on the project.
“Litigation is on between the former contractor & Government Contractor and also contractor and other sub-contractors as such it is not possible for the same project to be re-awarded.
He further faulted the government for saying they were terminating or have terminated the contract on the grounds of non-performance after the Plateau State were Lalong has been quoted saying the project was 70 percent completion. “If we have done 70 percent like they say, what then will stop us from completing the project?”
“We don’t need to compound this issue, bringing in another contractor now when the main contractor is still alive, and the case is still before the court of Law, we will only compound the issues with more litigations, and the more we go into litigation the more the project will still not be uncompleted ”.
“This case is before the court of Law and we have not been paid any money,neither has anyone been sent to me nor approached me for settlement, and there is no consent agreement made all through the one year that the case has been in court”.
They stated that government was also in support that the Lalong Legacy Project being completed as it was for the overall interest of the Plateau State Citizens.
The Projects, 21 in all, were christianed ‘Lalong’s Legacy Projects and they include 9 primary schools, 6 secondary schools and 6 hospitals, all of world-standard and located across the 17 local government areas of the State.
The State Executive Council however said, it approved the award of the contract for the completion of the projects at the sum of N26.6 billion following the termination of the contract with the previous contractor which was a decision taken at the end of the Executive Council Meeting.
“You would recall that Bleneson Services Ltd had on March 16, instituted a suit seeking to restrain the Plateau government from terminating its contract with the company for the construction of schools and hospitals under the Lalong Legacy Projects”.
The institution of the suit was after the Plateau state government issued a 30-day “Notice of Termination of Contract” on the Company on March 9, following what it claimed to be failure of the company to deliver a phase of the project.
Presiding Judge Justice Ishaku Kunda , struck out the case after it held that there was a failure of mandatory steps failed to be taken by the defendants as required by the rules of court emphasized on the court of jurisdiction to handle the matter.
How even Bleneson Services Nig. LTD. have since filed notice of appeal and awaiting the verdict of the Court.

The GOC gave the charge while addressing the students of the college at the Headquarters 3 Division who were on Operational tour to Jos. General Ali reiterated that effective engagement with community leaders and relevant agents will strongly reduce the security issues confronting the country.
He revealed that the current successes recorded within 3 Division and Operation SAFE HAVEN was a result of continuous engagement with the communities. Accordingly, he said, the non-kinetic measures such as sporting and cultural competitions, stakeholders meetings as well as joint community security intervention committee and vigilantes formed are yielding positive results.
Earlier in his remarks, the team leader of the visiting officers and students, Director Land Warfare, AFCSC Jaji, Brigadier General IB Maina said, the students of the Junior Course 94 are on an operational visit to 3 Division Joint Operations Area to garner knowledge and experience about the operational activities of 3 Division and OPSH under the leadership of Major General IS Ali which he said has led to tremendous peace and security of lives and properties.
The Director further revealed that the operational tour with the theme “All Society Approach to Tackling Security Challenges” is aimed at awakening the consciousness of the young officers towards community based strategies to decimate the security challenges.

Gov. Simon Bako of Plateau State has send stern warning to the traditional ruler in the state, and said he will not hesitate to dethrone any traditional ruler he find his actions is tyrannical to his subjects and working at crossroads with the constituted government.
The Governor adviced t to use the power bestorted on them as the traditional rulers in their various domain to fight insecurity currently ravaging the entire state and attract developmental projects to their domain.
He was speaking at the installation and presentation of staff of office to the New Mishkaham Mwaghavul, HRH,Da John Putmang Hirse over the weekend ,held at Mangu Mini Stadium in Mangu local government of plateau state.
He stressed that Security is everybody’s business that can’t be left only in the hands of the government alone,but charged the traditional institution to brace up to the challenges and join hands with the government to tackle the current insecurity challenges facing the state.
He further challenged the traditional institution to work assiduously, and spread their tentacles both within and outside the state with the view of bringing developmental projects to their domain, for the progress of the people of Mwaghavul nation ,and humanity.
Thank Mwaghavul nation for the maturity they exhibited during the selection of the New Mishkaham Mwaghavul, HRH Da John Putmang Hirse by the king makers without rancor and Court litigation.

However, it’s very imperative to point out the legal implications of the removal of the Claimant applicant, Dr. Sarpiya as member of the party , particularly at this very crucial point in time.
More so that the complaintant followed due process of the law to address his grievance instead of resulting to self help as civilized citizen of the country.
As against this backdrop, any action and inaction take by an member of the party, and it agenyt at this stage when the issue is pending in court , is tantamount to prejudice , or better still, comtent of court, which is punishable offence by imprisonment, option of fine or both.
As against this background, APC and it co-travelers should be very careful and maintain status quo pending the disposition of the matter which is in the jurisdiction of the competent court of law.
Although the party APC, in the state has bad records of violating court judgement with Impunity right from time.
This can be seen in the case of the embattled chairman of Lantang North LG, Hon. Ubandoma Joshua Laven PDP, who court entered judgement on in his favor that his removal as the council chairman, when his tenure was still running is an error in the eyes of the law, and order the court to restore him back as the chairman of Lantang North LG.
Instead , the party head for appeal court challenging the judgment of the lower court which was also entered in the Claimant Applicant favor, the Judgement the governor of APC in the state refused to obey till his tenure of the Claimant expired just in October,22.
The case of disposed Qua’an-Pan local government Isaac Kwallu is till fresh in our memory when governor lalong and his agents used his executive rascality to remove the executive chairman of Qua’an-Pan LG Kwallu from office without no explained reasons.
The action he contested in court, and get tired until he decamped from APC to the opposition Party PDP under the platform he is currently contesting for the House of Representatives.
So the the executive rascality of APC, and it’s agents is unparallel as they violate Court order with Impunity.
How far APC can carry out their threats to Suspend Sarpiya from the party, only time will tell.
Plateau State Governor Simon Bako has called on Christians to actively participate in politics as a way of contributing to national development and adding value to governance in Nigeria.
Governor Lalong spoke while addressing the 14th Annual Conference of the Association of Papal Knights and Medalists in Nigeria holding in Jos.
Lalong said the theme of the Conference “Fratelli Tutti: Path for Credible Elections for Good Governance in Nigeria” is very appropriate as it will discuss issues about leadership recruitment and the delivery of good governance in Nigerian by the political class and bureaucrats.
He said “Many have suggested and rightly so, that Nigeria’s many challenges stem from poor leadership. However, a lot of people forget or do not realise that leadership does not begin and end with elections. It starts much earlier and continues afterwards. As someone who has been in politics most of my adult life, I can say without fear of contradiction that leadership recruitment begins with the consciousness of the society on what kind of leadership it desires. This determines the level of participation or otherwise of the citizens in the process that identifies, adopts and presents candidates for elections. Sadly, many of our brothers and sisters shy away from getting involved and would rather prefer to criticize, castigate and sometimes pull down those in office”.
Lalong said while he appreciates the fact that the Catholic Church has a robust platform for encouraging and pushing its members to participate in politics, so much still needs to be done within the entire Body of Christ in Nigeria to ensure that more Christians occupy decision-making offices.
“As children of light, we must be on the table of governance in order to stop darkness from taking a root and dominating. That is why I appeal to the Church to continue to create avenues for constant engagement with Christian politicians for proper articulation of its interests and evaluation” he said.

He said, “Several threats of destabilization over the Muslim-Muslim tickets were connected with his (Pam) name and it would be interesting to see what additional information law enforcement agencies and the intelligence community would dig up since they have already connected his financial links to some of those threats.
“We, however, do not see value in waiting for Pam’s arrest, prosecution, conviction and sentencing to come after his tenure.
“NCPC is one organization where leadership should be by example and being a Christian-oriented entity, corruption should have no berth at the Commission.
“This is why we are calling for him, Reverend Yakubu Pam, to immediately resign as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) in view of the many infractions he has allegedly engaged in.
“Our further demand is that he turns himself over to the relevant security agencies and anti-corruption bodies upon your resignation. This is to enable them properly investigate the extent of corruption that he has been engaged in.
“We are particularly interested in unravelling these details so we are going to demand that the nation’s anti-graft agencies investigate the finances of the NCPC from 2016 till date, which requires that he steps aside to prevent him from interfering with the process.
“His failure to resign after seven (7) days of receipt of this letter, CRAAC shall beginning from Monday October 31, 2022 commence indefinite protests at the Presidential Villa, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, NCPC Office in Garki Abuja, the Headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja and the headquarters of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Abuja.”
Group under the auspices of the Central and Southern Plateau Unity Forum, has, Thursday 3rd Nov,2022, disclamed Rev. Polycap Jurbe Success, saying he is not the substantive elected chairman of the forum.
The forum’s chairman Mr. Panshak John Verengkat, made the disclaimer, in a chat with journalists in Jos.
“It will be recall, that peaceful election for the executive members of the Central and Southern Plateau Unity Forum, took place on 29 May, 2022, which results clearly showed I took the victory, with the second person, Rev. Polycap, presents at the venue,” he asserted.
Mr. Panshak, said his led-executuves were peacefully inaugurated in June, but few days after Rev. Polycap, began to, “impersonate, going about parading himself as the elected chairman.”
He said whereas; Rev. Polycap, has accepted defeat, but is now busy going up and down claiming that he is the chairman.
“The Association held its meeting last week at Jos Hotel, and decided to go on disclaimer and we have written a letter to the DSS.
“They have to arrest him immediately, because he has to stop parading himself as the chairman,” he said.
He alleged that Rev. Polycap, and his supporters have been tarnishing the image of the forum, in the eyes of other people.
“They are busy frauding people, and that is spoiling the forum’s name,” he alleged.
Mr. Panshak, called on Rev. Polycap and those supporting him to desist from doing so, or will face the wrath of the law.
“As former adviser to the Governor on religious affairs, what has he been advising the Governor, and may be that was why he lost his seat,” he asked.

However, when contacted via phone conversation Rev. Polycap Jurbe, discarded the disclaimer, saying, “…who did I defrauded.”

“Thank God, they said there was election, and there is grievances, the documents are before the State Commissioner of police,” he said.
Rev. Polycap accused Mr. Panshak, of going about, “defrauding people.”
The suit filed by aggrieved APC delegates aka “Prospectives Delegates” at the High Court Sitting in Jos , plateau state Division, has taken a dramatic turn as the party Governship Candidate, Nentawe Yilwatda has brought application to Join in the suit.
The matter which is slated for hearing 1st Nov,22, on the pending application by APC governship Candidate was re-adjourned for not reap for hearing, and to enable the parties in the suit effects proper service.
The application of Nentawe to joined on the suit was vehemently opposed by the Claimant applicant who gave fundamental reasons that the matter is not his,and his application to join tantamount to busy body.
While the counsel to the APC raised preliminary objection on the refusal of the Claimant applicant motion as he argued that is within the right of his client to decide to be joined on the suit ,and copiously quoted sections of the Constitution to support his argument.
After argument and counter arguments the parties decided to sheath sword and withdrew their motion and preliminary objection separately to give way for the application wether or not Nentawe should be joined in the suit.
In an interview with the Counsel to the Claimant applicant S.A Abba, give reasons for the withdrawal of his motion which subsequently necessitate the respondent , APC to also withdraw his P.O.
Abba said the reason is to give them the ample opportunity to amend their originating summons that was having APC 2014 constitution,and replaced it with the party recent 2022 constitution which we where not privy to have as at the time of filling the suit.
“As at the time we filed this action ,we did not have the party’s 22 , constitution .After obtaining the party recent copy of the constitution,we saw the need to amend our process to reflect the current 22, constitution of the party.”
“Abba further said ,in that motion ,we ordinarily ought to have exhibited the Constitution ,we didn’t and APC came up with objection saying no we didn’t exhibited the Constitution.”
” Instead of joining issues with them,we filed another motion to withdraw the defective motion, and subsequently withdraw their objection.”
” Nentawe filed a motion joining as Party which is susisting motion now,so we are still within our right to respond”.
He further stressed that” so we are filing our motion today, it means it’s not reap for hearing”.
Our contention is that Nentawe feels he has right to join as Party ,we are saying no ,this suit is the activity of the APC, so Nentawe is just an aspirant sponsored by the party and he most stand aside , whatever is the faith of the party ,he abide by it.
He was not the one that conducted the ward congress of the party ,what then does he has with it, he questioned.
So the case has been adjourned till 17th Nov,2022 for hearing on the application and possibly the substantive matter.
The High Court sitting in Jos Division has adjourned till 26th January, 2023 for trial within trial of one Yohanna Danladi over the rape of 4 Years Old miss Easther Solomon Danladi .
The alleged Offense come up today 1st November,2023, is said to have been committed in 2021 at Mangu local government of the state , and was transferred to the police headquarters the plateau state capital .
The case which is for defense is before Justice Nafisat, the accused narrated how he was threatened by the IPO in charge of the case to agree through his confessional statement that he committed the act but refused.
Yohanna narrated further that at a point he was slapped severally and felled down and practically gone into coma, dragged from one point to the other on bear floor because I of my refusal to compromise my innocence on the matter.
He added that the Purported statement they are claiming that it was voluntary given by me, is force because he never give statement with English language I am not fluent in it.
Yohanna stressed that when he was arrested in Mangu local of the state,they want me to make confessional statement,but I demanded for written materials and volunteered to write my statement in Hausa Language.
In further cross examination,he stood his ground that the alleged statement accredited to him is not his ,as against the background,the client to the accused applied to the the court for the accuse person to be availed opportunity trial within trial.
That he said will give the court the true picture of things regarding to the case,of the accused person alleged involvement in the alleged crime.
The trial Judge Justice Nafisat adjourned the case to 26th January,2023 for trial within trial.
The Federal High Court sitting in Jos , plateau state has adjourned the matter involving the former Plateau State Anthony General and Commissioner of Justice Edward Pwajok SAN , Labour Party and Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) to the 11th November, 2022 ,for hearing .
Engineer Dung Bot has dragged the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Edward Pwajok ,LP and INEC before the Federal High Court in the state capital challenging his replacement as the running mate to the Governorship Candidate of Labour party LP, in the state without notice, which is unconstitutional.
The matter which was slated for the 31st Nov, 22 for hearing was stalled as the 2nd defendant in the matter,who doubled as the running mate to the party Governship Candidate Edward Pwajok, and representing himself in the matter, told the court that he was served the process just some days back.
He added that as law abiding citizens,he has to appear in court to avoid further insinuations that his absence in court may cause.And further bring to the court knowledge that in line to the court rules, they are still having days to file their response ,and urged the court to give him short adjournment to give enable him file his responses.
The other parties in the matter didn’t oppose the application for an adjournment ,and the presiding Judge Justice Musa Kulliat , however adjourned the matter to 11th Nov,22 for hearing.
In an interview with the counsel to 2nd respondent who doubled as the running mate to Dr.Patrick Dakum Edward Pwajok , representing himself in the matter said the plantiff err in law to have dragged the matter before the court .
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria Pwajok said the decision of whom to be a running mate is an agreement between the principal and the running mate which any other person interfearing amount to busy body, intruder.
Similarly,in an interview with the Counsel to the plaintiff M.B Abdullahi said on the 4th Oct,22 INEC published the names of Governorship and their Deputies in the 36 State of the Federation ,the name of my client Jack Dung Bot was removed and replaced with another name .
The law is very clear to that effect, that ones a primary Elections have been conducted ,and Governorship Candidate emerged,he will norminate his running mate and send the name to INEC for approval.
He further explained that the moment INEC accept that name,it become individual that have aquire vested interest by publishing his name
as the Deputy governor by that political party,so before you remove his name , you must follow the lay down procedure as it’s invested in the electoral Act.
Ones that is not done,it means is not done in line with the law.
The electoral Act specifically have two instance that you can substitute a Candidate.
First,when the Candidate dies,and when he voluntary resigned his position as deputy governor of the labour Party.
So there is no how you can just remove his name as the Deputy Governor and put another name without his consent.
That is why we are in court to enforce that right he has acquired .
Till this moment ,the labour Party has not written any letter to my client that he has been substituted with another Candidate.
So the judge adjourned the matter till 11th Nov, 22, for hearing.
It would be recalled that engineer Jack Dung Bot was a running mate to the embattled Governship Candidate of the labour Party, ambassador Yohanna Margif the alleged Governship Candidate of the party.
While on the other hand, Edward pwajok is the running mate to Dr Patrick Dakum ,the case which Margif is currently challenging at the same federal high court and has reached Judgement that will soon be communicate to the parties.
The Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) and GOC 3 Division Nigerian Army , Major General Ibrahim Ali has described women as huge pivotal of peace and unity in the society.
Major General Ali made this remark during the award presentation and dish opening ceremony organized by Bassa Women For Peace and Unity Initiative in Jos.
Represented by the Chief of Staff Operation SAFE HAVEN, Brigadier General Amos Egbejule, the commander said the association is known for promoting peace, social cohesion and helping the society to advance rapidly. He affirmed that their contributions to national security are worthy of note and highly commendable.
General Ali further said the motto of the organization is symbolic to the mission of Operation SAFE HAVEN which has been achieved to a larger extent through kinetic and non-kinetic means.
The Commander honored with the Peace Ambassador Award in recognition of his tireless and relentless effort in promoting and building peace in Bassa LGA and Plateau state at large, said the award was a testament to our commitment to continually discharge our responsibilities in accordance with laid down rules and regulations of the country and that of the Armed forces of Nigeria.
Ibrahim Ali who dedicated the award to Officers and men of 3 Division Nigerian Army and Operation SAFE HAVEN, urged the women to strengthen the relationship among themselves such that they could all speak with one voice, and advised the women to support security agencies especially Operation SAFE HAVEN with timely and credible information to completely decimate the few criminals left in our neighborhood.
Highlight of the occasion were the presentation of awards to awardees, dish opening amongst others.
In a move to address the challenge associated with access, quality, availability and affordability of drugs in Government health facilities, Governor Simon Bako Lalong has signed into law the Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency Bill 2022 recently passed by the House of Assembly.
While signing the Bill into Law at the Government House Rayfield Jos, the Governor said with the new legislation coming into effect, the Agency when established will ensure that all State owned tertiary, secondary, and primary health facilities get their drugs from one source which has a lot of advantages.
He said the days of out-of-stock syndrome will be addressed while the tracking of drugs will be easier. The agency will also ensure that the quality of the drugs procured is ascertained while those who store them will do so under a uniform template.
Lalong further added that the Agency will also ensure that there is quality control by developing a standard operating procedure as well as addressing the issue of cost.
Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Plateau State Chrysanthus Ahmadu while giving the synopsis of the Law said the Agency is also permitted to carry out the manufacture of quality and affordable drugs and other consumables as well as operationalising the Revolving Drug Fund in all health facilities in the state
In another development,the Governor has recieved members of the Nigerian Bar Association Jos Branch who paid him a courtesy visit.
Led by its Chairman Barr Izang Aware, the NBA said they were at the Government House to once again appreciate the Governor who has done a lot to improve the Judiciary in Plateau State through the construction of the High Court Complex and renovation of other courts as well as supporting and implementing the Autonomy of the Judiciary.
They formally introduced the new Executive Members of the NBA Jos Branch and assured him of their readiness to continually support his administration and its programmes.
They invited the Governor for the activities marking the 2022 Law Week and asked for his support towards renovation of the Bar Centre which will accommodate its activities.
Committee Chairman of the 2022 Law Week Barr Sunday Obende promised to organise a befitting law week in the State with the theme “Tipping point: 2023 General Elections in Perspective” scheduled to hold from 2-7 December 2023.
Responding, Governor Lalong welcomed them to Government House and said as his professional colleagues, he has continued to enjoy their support, advice and collaboration.
While promising them a new bus to run their office, he said he will do his best to support activities of the NBA and give them a serene working environment.
He promised to renovate the NBA Bar Center and commission the High Court Complex alongside the newly renovated Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Center before his tenure ends.
The Executive Chairman Qua’an-Pan Local Government Council, LG of Plateau state Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a has presented his scorecard one in office as the Council’s boss.
This was held during the parley with his Media team where he reeled out his achievements as the chairman of the council he held sway titled ,QP Project : Endless Possibilities Administration ,in the LG held on Friday at the Council.
In his speech,the chairman gave historical background of how the LG was founded Qua’an-Pan, one year ago, the QP Project:
Endless Possibilities Administration in Qua’an-Pan Local Government, alongside 16 other Local Government Councils in Plateau State were inaugurated. The inauguration marks a further consolidation of on the gains of our democracy as it opened up new chapters in the practice of Democratic governance through the demonstration of selfless, people-oriented and collective drive towards socio-cultural and economic transformation.
He congratulated all qua’an pans,and all who mad journey so far an achievements in the last year and for our determination to take our Local Government Area, Plateau State and Nigeria to greater heights.
The chairman thank mostly the team of his cabinet,I am grateful in many ways to my to the members ,q the Legislative arm, the traditional council, the Directors, the wonderful staff, governmental and non-governmental (civil and military) agencies for their patriotism and the courage they have so far demonstrated in making Qua’an-Pan Local Government Area a true bastion of democratic experience.
Every administration has its peculiar challenges but the task we set for ourselves and our people is to reflect and appreciate these challenges with the view to turn them around positivity to better the lots of our people.
With this, the QP Project: Endless Possibilities Administration under my watch has, in the last year made strides and re-ignited the hope of our citizens that democratic government truly empowers the people with the capacity to deliver real benefits and give them better quality of life.
As stated earlier, each administration has its challenges, and some of the challenges we faced on assumption of office were the dearths in finance and the high degree of insecurity, which left the entire LGA in sleepless panic

Undeterred by these challenges and with the determination and cooperation of the workforce and the citizens, we set for ourselves targets and timelines to change the narrative in order to maximize our potentials and give our people hope to engage in fruitful activities under a peaceful environment.
Today, we can say that by encouraging collective participation based on shared prosperity, transparent and participatory governance, we have been able to surmount some of our challenges; and provided respite and dividends of democracy within our limited available resources.
May I, at this juncture reflect and put on record some of the achievements of the QP Project: Endless Possibilities administration in Qua’an-Pan Local Government Council under my leadership in the past one year.
SECURITY
You are aware that security plays an important role in the life of any society. Without security, nothing can work. A stable security environment creates room for peaceful coexistence and enhances economic growth and development. On assumption of office, we were faced with series of security challenges.
In order to curb the situation, the Council partnered with the various security agencies and outfits within and outside of LGA, and provided assistance to them.
These partnership saw the maximization of the services of the Army, Police and other recognized outfits, like The Vigilante, Community Police, Neighborhood Watch, etc., which today have reduced the level of crimes, criminalities and criminal activities in the Local Government.
Our partnership also gave birth to the establishment of an additional Divisional Police Office in the LGA, with the full status of the office, located in Namu. I am glad to inform you that the Local Government will soon hand over the completed fully fortified office structure to the Police.
When fully operational, the station will boost our efforts at minimizing security breaches and or challenges within the Local Government Area and it’s environs to the barest minimum.
We have also been responding promptly and regularly to other security challenges, once we get wind of them, especially around Namu District.
I commend all the security agencies for their cooperation in this fight and I encourage them to remain dogged in our drive towards the sustenance of a peaceful and secured LGA. I want to assure them of our continued support in their drives toward meeting their respective mandates.
General Administration and Chieftaincy Affairs
Despite our lean financial base, under my leadership, we have:
I Reinvigorated the work force through prompt payments of salaries and settlements of various entitlements, the result of which today we have a highly motivated and more productive workforce.
ii. Paid some backlogs of salaries and benefits of past political office holders.
Paid some Contract liabilities Facilitated the selection and confirmation of some village heads.
Works Department
My good people of Qua’an-Pan, we have within the one year of this Administration, among others;-
Reconstructed the Namu – Langkaku road bridge.
Procured three (3) new mowers and for the maintenance of the secretariat compound and it’s surroundings.
Effected comprehensive overhaul of the pavilion of Qua’an-Pan Mini Stadium, Ba’ap.
EDUCATION
Under education, the Administration, we:
Procured and donated 15 brand new computers to Potter Memorial Secondary School, Kwalla to enhance e-learning.
SOCIAL SERVICES
For any society to strive, peace and peaceful coexistence within and among the communities is very critical towards mutual understanding and growth.Through inter religious and communal interactions, our Local Government today is enjoying relative peace. Through these, we have overcome some of the factors of division and now work assiduously and collectively with greater unity and fraternity. I commend everyone of us for this, especially our religious and traditional rulers and the Youths for this great feat.
On our side we will continue to provide levelling ground for the people to interact better, under a fair and equitable atmosphere.
In our desire to further promote peaceful coexistence within the Local Government, we organized the Peace and Unity Chairman’s Cup Tournament, tagged “Endless Possibilities Peace Football Tournament/Talent Hunt”; through Plateau Youth Council (PYC) Qua’an-Pan LGC.
In the year under review we provided Financial Assistance to some institutions to enable them provide services to their respective communities. They include:
OLA Hospital Namu,Central Mosque Kurgwi,Central Mosque Kwa (Darika and Izalatul JIBWIS)and
Many indegent persons and groups.
Others include,
The LGC in partnership with Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA), trained about 250 persons living with disability in LGA on skills in various areas of entrepreneurship.
h. We also in partnership with Beautiful Gates Foundation distributed over hundred wheelchairs to people living with disabilities.
HEALTH CARE
Health, they say is wealth. We take the health of our people seriously. In this regard, we understood several medical interventions in order to provide succor to the citizens. Among these interventions are:-
Provision of Free Comprehensive Medical and surgical services to over10,000 citizens.
The completion of the construction work on the PHC Clinic at Kurgwi East Ward.
The distribution of large quantities of Drugs and other Hospital equipment to various PHC Clinics in the LGA, under the Drugs Revolving Scheme programme of the QP Project administration.
AGRICULTURE
In the period under review, the Council:
Provided conducive atmosphere for our farmers by meeting their needs with some tools needed to enhance productions.
Repaired the Local Government Tractors and put them back to use by our farmers to boost output, as well as generate revenue for the council.
My dear people of Qua’an-Pan, our journey has just begun. The Administration will continue to focus on the things we have penciled down to execute to better our lives as a family.
The Chairman use the opportunity to thank the Staff and the people of Qua’an-Pan for their unalloyed support I have and will continue to receive as we forge ahead.
He further pointed out that your support and cooperation has been unconditional, bipartisan and unprecedented, and we appreciate it.
The Plateau State Governship Candidate on the platform of Labour Party (LP) ahead 2023 General Elections, Dr Patrick Dakum , has admonlished the people of plateau, by extension Nigerians to be hopeful for New and better Nigeria irrespective of the present challenges the country is going through.
Dakum further adviced that there is light after the tunnel and they should hope for New rebirth country under the watch of Labour Party LP, as it will put trusted and tested people that would administer the affairs of the country when the party’s Candidates come on board in 2023.
The party Governship Candidate give the assurance in an interview with journalists during his familiarization visit to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) plateau state chapter Secretariat recently.
Dakum sympathized with the plateau state in particular,and Nigeria as a whole victims of disasters or attacks by insurgent and displaced in their original home of abode .
He said,”any government who want to be in power,and lead people most relate with the people , find out what their problems are in context with the problem they are facing.”
And stressed that the presidential candidate of our party , Peter Obi,is setting example and he can’t go everywhere ,as against this background, it’s symbolic because it varies from state to state, and it’s imperative to identify with the affected victims of one forms of mishaps or the other , and to also be a part of the solutions to the problems.
The party Governship Candidate added that,this is the only aspect we can contribute our quarters ,so if you can’t be part of solving the problem, it’s needless talking about it.
He pointed out that the Presidential Candidate of the party Peter Obi is an exemplary leader that tells his followers that other people matter.
And adviced plateau citizens and Nigeria in general to unite at this critical time the country is passing through challenges irrespective of tribe, religion, ethic and political lineages because there is hope in the Nation Nigeria , but you most do the right thing.
He further adviced that as the country is approaching the electioneering period, we should adhere to the security tips provided by intelligent report on issues related to safety.

Worried by the degree of ignorance amongst women on the deadly breast and cervical cancer, the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) 3 Division Chapter has held an awareness health-walk and lecture to commemorate the 2022 Breast and Cervical Cancer Day at Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Jos.
The Chairperson, NAOWA 3 Division Chapter, Mrs Hauwa Ali who was represented by Mrs Hauwa Adamu lamented that the disease may have taken the lives of many women for lack of knowledge about its early detection.
She revealed that the campaigns and awareness lecture will encourage the women to go for screening, adding that there was nothing to be afraid or ashamed about.
She noted that early detection of the disease would necessitate early treatment and consequently elongate the lifespan of our women.
She further averred that prevention and early detection of breast and cervical cancer could save the lives of millions of women who are unaware of the danger of this killer disease.
In her lecture, the guest speaker, Prof Mrs Amaka Ocheke, a consultant with the Plateau State University Teaching Hospital Jos, urged the federal government to intensify effort by paying adequate attention to the complex nature of the disease with a view to eradicating it.
Prof Amaka revealed that cancer can be cured when detected early, and urged women to engage in regular breast and cervical checks to ensure early detection of abnormalities, unnatural growth or lumps in their breasts and other parts of the body.
NAOWA, to mitigate the spread of the disease took the battle against cancer to the streets to enlighten the occupants of Maxwell Khobe Cantonment and hit communities with the messages of preventing the spread of cancer.
In attendance were the executive members of NAOWA 3 Division, spouses of soldiers and dependants of troops.
Highlight of the event was procession from NAOWA Skills Acquisition Center through Phase One to Phase two to Jebbu Market, and back to Rhino Officers’ Mess for the lecture.

He add that any country that can’t feed her populations can’t said to be called country.So if my people of the central zone voted for me to represent them in the Senate,I will make sure I pursued agricultural program vigorously.
Mukilama said this will be done side by side with other projects like education and Security because without food you can’t read and understand ,or know what you are reading.
He lamented the long time neglect of the zone by previous Representatives without corresponding developments , and called on the Electorates in the central zone of the state to shine their eyes and vote for the right candidate that has the interest of the people at heart.
He stressed that under his watch as senator of the Federal Republic, he will ensure that dams are built in strategic places in the zone that will make the farmers in the zone, farm all year round, which will help to improve food production.
On Security he decried the level of insecurity in the state inparticular, and Nigeria as a whole ,but berated the leaders, under APC government for playing politics with the country’s Security Challenges, as the government lack will power to address it head on.

I will bring all the unconventional Securities on board to help and support the conventional Securities like the police who it’s obvious that they have been over stressed.
I will ensure they are train by approved Nigeria Security outfit so as to do away with any suspicions from sections of the country who may not be happy with the plans, and will equips them with up to date Security apparatus compared to what is obtainable advance countries of the world.
He further said education is another big plans he is having at the back of mind to ensure that all children in my Constituency catch with educational Pace with other world, I will draw a scholarship scheme for gifted children who are brilliant but no means.
Under my watch most of the schools within my Constituency who are hitherto dilapidated,and conducive for academic learning shall be put up to date and equips with modern facilities.

The appeal court setting in plateau state has said the bye-election conducted by INEC,February 26th ,22 that brought Musa Agah of People Democratic party PDP,is an error as the people Democratic party plateau state chapter lack structure to produce Candidate for the election.
As the appeal court made up of three Justice headed by Justice Teni Y. Hassan has given the 3rd respondent in the matter INEC,order to as matter of urgency withdraw the certificate earlier issued to him , Musa Agah of PDP, and issue to Gwoni Mohammed of the PRP as he is the legal elected Candidate for 26th February,22 house of Representatives bye election for Bassa /JosNorth federal Constituency.
The judge said the people Democratic party which is the appellate ,take very important things for granted that is why when the state entered judgement against them, directed them to go back and do the right thing by constituting legally acceptable excos of the party which they fragrantly disregard.
Justice Tani quoting copiously from the relevant section of the law, said the action of the people Democratic party is synonymous to what can be described in law “you can’t build something on nothing”?
She urged the excos of the party to go back to the drawing board and amend the mistake that is currently hunting on the party and it Candidate.
She further said the court is not a political parties, and the court cannot be drawn into the rough water of Politics that is steered by them.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army who doubled the Commander Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) Major General Ibrahim Ali has revealed that continuous training of troops is the most significant aspect of a professional military career.
The revelation was made during the inauguration of students for the maiden Drivers Basic Course 1/2022 ,and presented certificates to participants of 3 Division as graduated students of her maiden Drivers Refresher Course in Jos.
General Ali noted that the challenges of managing scarce resources which are quite enormous in the face of other competing demands has necessitated the training of troops towards equipping them with skills to operate equipment effectively and efficiently.
He averred that the continuous training of troops is a significant aspect of a professional military career.
This he noted is in consonance with the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, which is to have “A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions Within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria”.
According to the GOC/Commander OPSH, the Basic Drivers course which is the Maiden edition was designed to enhance soldiers driving ability and further build the capacity of drivers in 3 Division Area of Responsibility. This he said would enhance prompt response of the troops to emergency situations.
Delivering his welcome address, the Commander 73 Supply and Transport Brigade, Brigadier General Solomon Er revealed that the Driver Basic Course 1/2022 has 25 students including 2 Nigerian Air Force personnel and a Corps member.
He said the training shall include practical driving, long distance driving both day and night, thorough understanding of driving procedures in all weather conditions and terrains as well as a good knowledge on the daily maintenance and care of vehicles.
The ceremony was attended by Principal Staff officers, Comptroller Nigeria Immigration Service Plateau state, Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Plateau state, Rector Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) TV College Jos and the Executive Director Gradan Driving Academy Jos among others.

A group of Aggrieved APC delegates for the 2023 gubernatorial primaries in Plateau State aka Prospectives Delegates Elections has been adjourned to 2nd November,2022,for the court to rule on motion brought before it by the party gubernatorial Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda seeking the leave of court to join in the suit.
Yilwatda has come through a motion urging the court to allow him joined on the suit as 2nd defendant in the suit filed by the party existing delegates challenging the jettison of the use of existing structure which is not know to law in delegates Elections in Nigeria,and any Democratic Elections in the World.
The Prospectives delegates are in court challenging the party’s decision of sidelining the delegates , instead decided to impose delegate on the people.
Not satisfied with the unconstitutional decision of the party in the state ,the aggrieved delegates headed for the court to seek redress and interpretations of the law regarding the party’s action.

High Court sitting in Plateau state , presiding over by Justice Nanpon Dadi has adjourned to the 8th of December ,2022 for hearing in a suit filed by the Chairman/CEO of Dilkon Plastic Ltd, Hon. Leonard Dilkon challenging the Indians expatriates and Nigerian for the fraudulent activities in Plateau State and illegal oil exploration in Niger Delta .
Those set to take their plead before Justice Nanpon Dadi were Mr Parag Sule ,Babatude Sadiq ,Titus Gopep ,Rajan Singn, Sachin Singn , and Yohanna Gareka ,on circumstances and the interest of justice .
They were scheduled to be arraigned before the State High court on 11 counts charge Wednesday 26th October,2022, but out of the five accused persons, only 3 where in court, while two currently on the run.
After moving the motion ,the plaintiff counsel ,Barr Francis Okafor told the court that the matter was slated for taken of plead from all the defendants, but only 3 of them are in court out of 5.
The defense counsel to the 1st ,4th and 5th defendants ,Barr. Vincent pleaded with the court on behalf of the 1st defendant who is currently sick and has been hospitalized in India hospital after receiving information of the dead of his father and the shocking news of In-law who have been in coma for two months .
However ,he told the court that the Nigeria high commission granted him emergency to leave the country, which is dated the 17th June, 2022 by India upon receiving that said information ,Barr Vincent disclosed that when received summon for pleading he communicated him through WhatsApp by calling to let him know the time of his return to Nigeria to enable him attend the court plead .
According to Vincent ,his counsel forwarded the letter to the hospital in India but they insisted until when he is medically fit to be discharge .
He said the Nigeria High commission has requested me to furnish them with the date for the prehearing because of authorization due to this circumstance I’m asking for adjournment .
Vincent explained that ,in respect to the 4th and 5th defendants ,my Lord I don’t know their whereabout and I have no explanation to why they’re not in court so a bench warrant application should be giving .
The counsel to the 2nd defendant ,Barr Bitrus Dung didn’t oppose to the adjournment application including the 3rd defendant counsel Barr Nantok Dashwar .
The 6th defendant counsel Barr.D. K.Gongtul couldn’t also oppose the application for the adjournment .

Lagos State Commercial Drivers Threaten Seven-Day Mass Protest Over Multiple Extortion By Parks, Garage Managements
The drivers lamented that despite their dedication to their work, they had been subjected to indiscriminate extortion, violent harassment by the management.
Commercial drivers in Lagos State under the aegis of the Joint Drivers Welfare Association of Nigeria (JDWAN), have threatened to embark on seven days protest and boycott of services across the over multiple and excessive extortion by the management of parks and garages in the state.
The association in a statement by its National Leader, Akintade S. Abiodun; Chairman, Opeyemi Sulaiman; General secretary, Ajimatanarareje A. Feyisayo and Assistant Secretary, Taofik Hassan, scheduled Monday, October 31, for the commencement of the protest, as it instructed its members to adhere to the instruction.
The drivers lamented that despite their dedication to their work, they had been subjected to indiscriminate extortion, violent harassment by the management of state transport agencies, motor parks and garages and Lagos State caretaker committee.
The statement read, “This is to notify members of the public and the Lagos state government over multiple and excessive extortion by the motor parks and garages management.
“The cost of transportation affects cost of goods and services and consequently the cost of living, which has spiraled astronomically in Lagos State as a result of the effect of motor parks excessive and illegal ticketing and tolling at almost every bus stop.
“We have been sentenced to the extortion and violent harassment of the state transport agencies – Lagos State motor parks and garages management and Lagos State caretaker committee.
“On a daily basis, we lose half of our income to the motor park boys. We pay exorbitant charges in the garages and at every bus stop where we drop off passengers, whether we pick up passengers or not, we pay morning, afternoon and night. Some routes have 25 bus stops which also serve as illegal tax collection avenues.
“We crave the indulgence of the public to go through the meticulous breakdown of this unprecedented level of extortion we go through below:
“From Badagry to Mile 2, we pay N3,500 & N5,000 naira apart from 25 illegal tolling/ticketing by motorpark hoodlums who collect two to three hundred naira per bus. From Seme in their park, they do collect N7,100 in the morning before loading our buses yet we are still subject to illegal collection on the highway.
“On Federal Mass & Coaster, we pay over N12,000 on each trip from Oko Afo to CMS or to Oyingbo, which includes loading charges and illegal payments at several bus stops till we get to our destination.
“From Ogijo to Ikorodu, we pay over N5,500 per day. Garage Ticket N850, Chairman ticket N1,700, King’s levy N200, Ita Oluwo N500, Odo Gunyon N1,200, Ile Epo Oba N200. We also pay N900 for passIng by whether you pick up a passenger or not.
(At Ikorodu Roundabout we pay N1,000 in the morning and afternoon and we pay N500 in the evening which makes it N2,500. At Benson Bus Stop we pay N900 for a whole day, loading at N300 each for morning, afternoon and evening.
“At Agric Bus Stop we pay N200 to 8 motor park thugs. It is called welcome to Agric tax. When we stop to load for passengers at the agric bus stop we pay an extra N300 which isn’t part of the N1,600 welcome to Agric tax. When we get to Aunty Kenny bus stop we pay N200 before buying Lagos state ticket for N500.
“”At Ogolonto bus stop we pay N100. At Mile 12 bus stop we pay N500 for plying the expressway and N1,000 for plying service lane (for buses enroute Yaba oyingbo). Mile 12 to Ojuelegba buses pay N1,500 while red coaster buses pay N2,000.
“Red buses from Ikorodu to Oshodi pay N5,000 to motor park boys in the morning and afternoon. At Ketu bus stop we pay between N600 to N1,000 depending on the size of bus for just dropping off passengers or picking up any single one. For buses plying Yaba to Ikeja, we pay N200 at Jibowu bus stop, total bus stop N100, Fadeyi N100, Onipanu N200, Elediye N200, Palmgrove N200, Anthony N100, Ikeja N200 – total N1,300.
“On our way back to Yaba, Palmgrove & Onipanu is N500, Fadeyi & Total N500, Yaba N200 with LASG N800 ticket making it a total of N3,300 in the morning alone. We pay N2,000 each in the afternoon and evening, which makes a total of N7,300 daily. Korope plying lyana Iba-Okoko to Agbara are paying N5,000 per day to motor park boys without the extra LASTMA & Police Department & Lagos Task Force daily extortion.
“When we resist the extortion, we get arrested and pay N10,000 for bail to the police while the motor park boys go scot free and we also have to bail our buses separately.
“Lagos drivers also pay for entertainment, security, unit chairman’s food and many other ridiculous levies with threat of violence at any slight refusal by the drivers. This is the exact case of the popular parlance on exploitation of labourers, “baboon dey work and monkey dey chop”.
“Lagos commercial drivers work like elephants and eat like ants while the urchins under the aegis of motor park workers take a large chunk of our earnings. We can hardly fulfill our contractual obligations with our business partners, feed our family or afford maintenance or repair of our vehicles.
“Our demands are: No to charging drivers three passengers money after loading in parks or garages, we are demanding it should be one passenger’s money per bus. We demand that only Lagos State government ticket should be the only ticket in Lagos. Others like Lagos State parks & garages management, Lagos State caretaker committee are not acceptable to all drivers in Lagos State.
“We kick against Paying motor park thugs at every bus stop. All illegal money paid after we leave the garages and parks should be abolished immediately. Harassment of law enforcement agencies & intimidation with guns, cutlass, broken bottles by LASTMA, task force and RRS must end immediately. They collaborate and hire thugs to attack and extort us every day without violating any law.
“We have lesser bus stops for commercial vehicles. Most bus stops in Lagos are strictly assigned officially to brt buses only and we get arrested for dropping off passengers at existing bus stops which are known to commuters as official bus stops for decades. We demand that the Lagos State government should provide official bus stops in each community to avoid incessant arrests and stress for commuters who complain of having to trek several kilometres back to their bus stops.
“We call on the Lagos State government to quickly respond to avert the current anomaly. Failure to adhere to these demands will only attract more protest and total boycott, the Joint drivers welfare association of Nigeria (JDWAN) is resolute in pursuing justice by all legitimate and peaceful means available.”
The Grade 1 Area Court sitting in Bukuru Jos South local government of Plateau state has revoked the bail bond of Babangida Ahmed for failure to appear in court in line with criminal Justice law of plateau state.
As the court ordered that Ahmed been remanded in the prison custody till the next adjourned date 14th Nov,2022 ,better still perfect a fresh bail application.
Babangida Ahmed is facing criminal Charges against the Plateau state Commissioner of police over sale of house by his elder brother to the Complainant applicant Mr Tuesday and refused to availed him the documents of the property , and still possess the ownership of the said property , collecting rent for over 2 years.
The case which is for hearing and taking of witnesses , the Counsel to the Complainant applicant , barrister Ikpo Chukwunenye told the court that he has just received communication through letter from the Counsel to the defendant asking for new date for the hearing on the matter.
Ikpo further told the court that the complaintant has 3 out of 5 witnesses in court and added that he has two applications to make , which are for the court to issue Bench Warrant on the defendant Babangida Ahmed , and also made a application for the hearing on the matter to continue without the defendant client and the process transmitted to him via the court.
In her ruling,the presiding Judge ruled that the bail bond hitherto being enjoy by the defendant Babangida Ahmed,should be strip off from him and be reminded in prison custody pending when he fulfilled a fresh bail application.
The judge further said the revoking of the bail application is necessitated because even without his Counsel not in court,the defendant Babangida is expected to be in court considering the nature of his case which is criminal .
As she strucked out the second application made by Counsel to the complainant applicant which want the hearing on the matter to continue even without the present of the defendant counsel.
The judge ruled for the interest of fair hearing, the court most be magnanimous enough and give the party another opportunity , as against this background ,this application is thrown out.
The matter was however adjourned to 14th Nov,2022 ,for hearing and presentation of witnesses.
The Plateau State Chapter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has inaugurated 224 Members of Atiku /Mutfwang Advisory and Campaign Council to drum Supports for the presidential and governship Candidate of the party ahead 2023 General Elections.
As the party berated the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, for subjecting the people of Nigeria into abject poverty and exposed them to incessant killing and kidnapping occasion by the party clueless governance.
The lamentation was made by PDP Governorship candidate in the state Barr.Caleb Mutfwang in his speech during the inauguration of the party’s 224 Members of Advisory and Campaign Council to drum Supports for PDP, Presidential and governship Candidate ahead 2023 General Elections .
The governship candidate decried the high rate of negative vices like hunger, insecurity, unemployment in the country which has put Nigeria at the top index of the poorest country in the World under the APC Government led by Mohammadu Buhari over 7 and half years on the saddle of governmence.
Mutfwang further said under the APC Government, the citizens of Nigeria has been expose to all manners of insecurities like killing, kidnapping and unemployment ,as Mohammadu Buhari led APC Government lack simple solution to tackle the problems.
He further lamented that Nigeria under PDP, before Buhari led government brain washed gullible Nigeria that when voted in as president, they can fix the country better than PDP government,can’t be compared to the current situation that Nigeria is going through currently under the APC Government.

The Jos judicial division of the Court of Appeal on Thursday 20th Oct,2022 reserved judgment to the main Appeal filed by Hon. Musa Agah and his Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal, which declared Muhammad Adam Alkali and his Peoples’ Redemption Party (PRP) valid winner of the 26th February, 2022 bye-election into Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency.
The Court’s panel of Justices led by Justice Tani Hassan further reserved judgment in the Cross-Appeal by Muhammad Adam Alkali and the PRP.
It would recall that on September 2nd, 2022, the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in plateau state division,ya nullified the Election and subsequent returned Hon. Musa Agah Avia of the PDP.
The Tribunal further declared Muhammad Adam Alkali as valid winner of the bye-election for Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency.
However, not satisfied with the judgement, Hon. Agah and his party, the PDP, appealed against the judgment.
They averred that the tribunal’s judgment, which declared that the PDP had no valid structure as at the time of the bye-election cannot nominate a candidate, was a pre-election matter which the Tribunal lacked jurisdiction to hear.
The appellants further argued that the cancelations of their more than 13, 000 votes were not in consonant with the law,and done by the tribunal.
Counsel for the appellants, Sunday Odey, adopted their processes and urged the Court to set aside the tribunal’s judgement and uphold the election of Musa Agah for over all interest of Justice.
In his brief of argument,Counsel for the 1st and 2nd respondents, Yakubu Ruba SAN, equally adopted their replies and told the Court to discountenance the Appeal filed by Musa Agah and his Party, PDP.
In their separate submissions, “We urge your lordships to dismiss the Appeal to allow the well considered judgment of the lower court stand,” Counsel maintained..
In his further submission, counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Barr. Musa Attah, told the tribunal that they were maintaining nuetrality as an “umpire and so, do not filed anything any brief of argument.
Similarly, the Cross-Appeal filed by Alkali and PRP, the court granted the relief sought by Ruba SAN, to allow them rely on the record transmitted by the main Appellants.
He adopted all processes, and urged the court to consider one of the exhibit, being a subsisting judgement of the High Court, which the tribunal did not accept.
But counsel to the 1st and 2nd Cross-Appeal/respondents, S.G Odey raised a motion of prelimenary objection, challenging the competence of the Cross-Appeal.
However, Ruba SAN, urged the court to dismiss the said Preliminary Objection.
Counsel for INEC, Musa Attah, while adopting their reply to the Cross-Appeal, urged the court to hold that they have discharge their constitutional duties and further urged it to dismiss the Cross-Appeal.
After listening to the brief of argument from both parties,the three man Appeal panel , headed by Justice Tani Hassan ,reserved Judgement for a day that will be communicated to the parties.
A chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, and candidate for Shendam ,Mikang and Quaanpan Federal House of Representatives in the forthcoming General Elections ,Chief John Dafaan has appealed to all the aggrieved members of his party APC, to sheath sword and come together , as family to see how they can win this political war ,rather than blaming and blackmailing each other .
Chief John Dafaan was speaking to journalists in an interview at his resident in Jos , plateau state , Capital.
The immediate past chief of staff to plateau state governor ,Simon Lalong, stated that APC is a party to beat in the forthcoming General Elections 2023,because the party has produced credible Candidates for the contest, I think and believe that the party is adequately prepared for the election.
Dafaan disclosed that As a Candidate in the forthcoming General Elections, the chances of my Party , APC is bright but we must resolve all our internal wrangling and forge ahead with our electioneering campaign proper .
However ,seeing Governor Lalong running for Senatorial seat , at the Same time, Director General (DG) campaign for Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket.
Governor Lalong is a DG campaign for Tinubu /Shettima presidential ticket which has hitherto received condemnation because of Muslim/Muslim ticket.
We need to make a clear distinction between our faith and politics that we run . In as much as we run politics, we need faith to be in politics because is your faith that is a guarding principles for your polical endeavours.
But I didn’t think the aspect of making religion a center point of political division is not a cardinal of human existence.
Because the faith we have , suppose to guard us.when we create division, our faith as Christians is in doubt within us.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC)3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH), Major General Ibrahim Ali has said continuous joint training and sharing of intelligence information among security agencies are key to ending security challenges in the country.
He made this know today while declaring open a one week 3 Division Operations Planing Cadre for junior leadership officers in Jalingo, Taraba State.
Major General Ali noted that the training was necessary to build the capabilities and competence required of junior leaders to successfully plan, execute operations and promote synergy as well as cooperation among the security agencies.
The GOC/Commander OPSH, further noted, the programme as being deliberately tailored to focus on inter-agency cooperation in a multi-joint environment, junior leadership skills, Media Operations, Code of Conduct and Rules of Engagement for the forthcoming 2023 General Election.
He revealed that the theme of the Cadre which is Capacity Building and Cooperation Approach: A Key to Overcoming the Current Security Challenges is in tandem with the Chief of Army Staff Vision for ” A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions Within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria.”
Delivering his welcome address, the Commander 6 Brigade Jalingo, Brigadier General Etim said the seminar has provided a rare opportunity for junior Commanders to interact and share professional knowledge required to confront security challenges in the region. He revealed that the security challenges confronting the nation requires sincere collaboration among relevant security stakeholders.
Delivering a lecture on understanding the Key issues and Security Analysis in a Multi-joint Environment, the guest speaker, Brigadier General IG Lassa noted the positive impact of sharing intelligence information among the security agencies.

Ahead 2023 General Elections in Nigeria, there are palpable fears being expressed that African Democratic Congress, ADC,may likely not field presidential candidate following alleged sacking of it party Presidential Candidate, Dr. Dumebi Kachikwu and some high ranking officials of the party for anti Party related offences.

However, the investigation committee set up by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party ,has since summited its reports to Disciplinary Committee, organ of the party saddled with the responsibility of disciplining an erring member, or members of the party after weeks of investigation which is said to have indicted the accused persons of the offences they were being accused of.
All things been equal, in line with the electoral Act , the party may just be gambling with not fielding presidential candidate for the coming General Elections,this is because, the Windows for selections and effect changes of candidates by political parties in line with the electoral law has been closed against them.
The palpable options left for the party and its supporters is to, either support a particular candidate from other political parties in the presidential slot, or do without support any.

The University of Jos Staff Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Limited has elected new executive officers to pilot the affairs of the cooperative for the next two years.
Our correspondent learnt that the cooperative election which took place at the Multipurpose auditorium Bauchi Road Campus of the institution on Thursday was adjudged free, fair and credible.
While Congratulating the newly elected Executives, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Doctor Ahidjo Embugushiki, enjoined them to lead and have a Cooperative Society that is functional for all and not a few.
Speaking after the keenly contested election, the president, Mr Aondohemba pledged that his leadership would carry all members along without discrimination or prejudice.
While reiterating his commitment to work within the guidelines of the society, leverage on transparency and accountability as the watchword of the newly elected officials, he implored necessary support from members to enable them move the cooperative forward.
On her part, the Public Relation Officer-elect, Juliana Olajide, appreciated members for coming out en mass to exercise their civic responsibility as members of the cooperative.
Mrs Olajide, who got the highest votes among the different positions contested, further stressed the need of her office and promised to use her wealth of experience as a media professional to strategically communicate and project the Society which is a process to build a mutually beneficial relationship with the general public.
Out of 929 accredited voters, the Financial Secretary polled a total of 470 votes, the Assistant Secretary 351, while the PRO returned a total of 678 votes.
Those elected are, Ukpo Aondohemba as President; Kanang Akims, Vice President; Sattong Rebecca, Treasurer, Makvreng Kumbe, Secretary General and Doctor Morgan Piwuna as Legal Adviser who were all returned unopposed while Pam Musa was elected as Financial secretary and Juliana Olajide was elected as PRO as Chamkida Nenkus clinched the position of assistant secretary.
All the officers elected await certificates of return. The inauguration which will signal the commencement of their tenure, is slated for a date in November 2022.
A Federal High Court sitting in Jos ,Division , on Friday has reserved the judgement on pre-election suit instituted by Danyaro D.Sarpiya challenging the All Progressives Congress ,APC, the election of Dr Nentewa Yilwatda ,and INEC seeking the leave of court to dismiss the primaries conducted by APC that saw the emergence of Dr Nentawe as the party sole candidate .
Counsel to the claimant /Applicant ,Barr .S.A.Abbah told the court that the aggrieved client brought six matter for determination ,however, the counsel to the first defendant Barr.Harrison Ogbole ,SAN,told the court that indeed he appreciated that the claimant brought six issues but they’re seeking the court for the extension of time which is dated 13/10/22 and is a motion presented by the order 26 of the Federal High Court were he moved the motion and that wasn’t opposed by the claimant counsel .
Justice Dorcas Agishi, the presiding judge after she carefully listen to the presentation granted the two motions as prayed .
The Claimant ,Plaintiff argued that there is an application by the 2nd defendant which is dated 21st July, 2022 praying the order of this honourably court to strike out the suit for incompetent but that application has been taken over by events .
This application should be strike out especially in light of sufficient proceedings ,Counsel to the 1&2 defendants Barr. P.H. Ogbole and Barr. Mathew Burkaa immediately apply for the withdraw of motion dated 4th October, 2022.
Justice Agishi strike out the motion of 4/10/22 as prayed .Barr.Abbah of claimant also apply to withdraw in reaction to P.O. dated 9/10/22 and the two applications was hereby struck out .
Barr Harrison Ogbole told the court that before the court we file notice of P.O. on behalf of the first defendant dated 19 September, 2022 praying the court to strike out the plaintiff suit in its entity for want of jurisdictions filed also on ground of one which the suit is status bar and it contravene the provision of the constitution of 1999 as amended under the federal republic of Nigeria particularly section 285 subsection 9 .
He also adopted the same motion paper together with it 11 paragraphs affidavit supported and embodied affidavit in their motion, urging the court to strike out the plaintiff suit which as provided by the law and rules of the honourably court ,and he explain that they filed a written address dated 19/09/2022.
According to Ogbole ,SAN, he pray the lordship to adopt the same written address and we urge your lordship to strike out or dismiss the claimant for lack of jurisdiction .
In a quick response,al the claimant ,Barr .Ogbole , says their counter affidavit was filed in further and better affidavit dated 13/10/2022 by order of this honourably court which was properly served, which the same motion was disposed by the Chairman of APC ,Hon Rufus Bature of 20 paragraphs affidavit alongside further and better affidavit and has written address dated 13 /10/2022 which they adopted as their argument .
He urged the court that their argument is that they are calling on court to dismiss the suit for lack of jurisdictions and time wasted .
Barr .Abbah while responding to the argument told the court that he file his 6 paragraphs counter affidavit dated 23rd September, 2022 and that motion was accompanied by an address which he adopt as the claimant argument to oppose them and urging the court to overrule the objections raise by the defendants and dismiss their applications.
The 2nd defense counsel ,Barr. Mathew Burkaa says their motion dated 04/10/2022 file same date requesting for 7 orders supported by 7 paragraphs affidavit deposed by Dr Jibrin Kamga Bancir the Director General of Dr Nentawe Yilwatda ,APC flag bearer before his been removed was supported by a written address and he adopted it by urging the court to strike out and grant his application as pray .
Barr Abbah whilst reacting to response through a counter affidavit ,he filed a further and better affidavit with 7 paragraphs on the 13/10/2022 ,he adopt the same urging the court to upheld as pray .
Meanwhile,Counsel to the 2nd Respondent Barr Burkaa says, “our case before the court is that our client contested election conducted by the party APC and monitored by INEC , and won in landslide and the plaintiff is in court challenging the out come of the election .
INEC in a letter before the court show clearly that the plaintiff with he letter written and signed by him has withdraw his candidature”.
When we came to court and raised the issue , the plaintiff turned around to say he didn’t sign . We showed the court that the report of INEC, and the result of the party corroborate our position.
Whether the plaintiff 4 votes translate to his withdrawal from the race?
It’s is clear that at the time of withdrawal, those 4 voted for him before he withdrew from the race, which the document before the court revealed .
He also alleged that there was no delegates election and no Elections that take place because no delegates to conduct the primary election.
We where able to show the court that even in the plaintiff documents,16th and 17th May,2022 ,there was delegates Election in the whole of plateau state.
The documents to prove that fact was the plaintiff own,and we have drawn the attention of the court to the document.
On why INEC was not represented in court,under Section 84 subsection 5 gives INEC,the power to monitor primary elections , that same power is bestowed on INEC in Section 82 Subsection 5 said if you don’t give INEC notice to monitor your election, the results of that election will be invalidated .
INEC doesn’t interest on who is the Candidate of APC, INEC have conducted Election , if INEC where to be in court , is like availing the court the same information he have given to us.
We exhibits INEC report, they exhibited the same, whether INEC is in court or not is immaterial , INEC is able to show neutrality in the matter.
And pointed out that the matter is an inter-party issue, and INEC is not interested on who is the Candidate of the APC.
INEC report shows that Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda won the election, APC conducted the election in gudedline of the lay down rules of electoral guideline .
INEC has discharged it part , whether INEC is here or not it doesn’t matter.
If it where to be General Elections, that is different ball game, because there is no way the election is being challenged in court without INEC being there.
You should realize that this election is conducted by APC, INEC only come to monitor , both by APC , Natewe and the plaintiff.
So INEC absent doesn’t have anything to do with the veracity of the case .
So they are neutral Party that doesn’t interested on what is happening within the political party , having declared the primary election and having issued the result.
If the 2nd defendant has not win the election, but come to court alleged winning, INEC would have come to court to say no , this result you have issued is incorrect or not the 2nd defendant won.
On his confident with the position on the matter so far, he said he is very much relax because we have look at the law as it relates to this case, the facts and logic is on our side.
In his interview with the Counsel to APC, said the party primary conducted in the state , the plaintiff is challenging the candidature of Nentewe.
On our part, we are saying that the primary conducted was in line with with the party guideline and accordance with the electoral act and constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria .
We are also contesting that Mr Sarpiya has withdraw his candidature from the race , and then lack the locus standi to bring the action before the court.
The issues have been canvass , preliminary objection raised, now we are awaiting date for Judgement that will be communicated to the parties.
We are hopeful and prayerful for positive Judgement.
In his submission, the counsel to the Claimant applicant said the court fix today to hear the grievance of my client, challenging the conduct of primary of APC in the state.
However, the court has adjourned the matter for Judgement .
Our prayers before the court is for the disqualification of the candidate of APC on the basis that the party primary election conducted was not in consonant with the electoral Act , and that of APC.
Former member House of Representatives, Hon. Lumumba Da Adeh has said that the fragrant refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, to conduct bye-election into the Plateau State House of Assembly for the Irigwe/Rukuba State Constituency has robbed the constituents of representation and its numerous benefits.
Adeh made this know in a statement contained in his letter to INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu on Friday 14th Oct,2022, personally signed by the former federal lawmaker and made available to this medium in Jos, plateau state.
Adeh who represented Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber from 1999 to 2003 in his letter, captioned “Re-Irigwe/Rukuba State constituency vacant seat” further stated that the delay in conducting the Bye-Election had unconstitutionally robbed the constituents more than a lot,and raised concern and pain leading agitations.

A copy of the letter which was made available to this medium further read : “May I draw the attention of Mr Chairman to the above subject matter and to also note that the aforementioned seat has remained vacant for over six months now.
“Following the resignation of the former member, the seat was consequently declared vacant by the Plateau State House of Assembly and INEC duly notified on March 22, 2022.
“We the constituents had hinged our hopes on the constitutional provisions to prepare for a bye- election within the stipulated time only to soon realize that your commission was not willing to immediately help fill the vacancy.
“It is obvious that not conducting the bye-election has deprived our constituency of representation and its benefits.
“You will recall that this is also a part of the Bassa/Jos North federal constituency which had suffered a similar fate only this year when we waited for almost one year for a bye- election held on February 28, 2022, to fill the vacant seat after the death of our member in April, 2021.
“We are however not unaware that force majeure could cause a delay or inhibit your constitutional duties.
“But I note with all sense of responsibility that insecurity which could have been a ready excuse was not tenable because the constituency and indeed the state has enjoyed relative peace and calm since 2021; hence the peaceful and successful conduct of the Bassa/Jos North federal constituency election in February 2022.
“This delay and its attendant deprivation has caused us the constituents a lot of concern and pain which has led to a high level of apprehension in view of the realization that the conduct of a bye-election may soon become constitutionally out of time. “Unless there is any reason which the INEC needs to tell the world, we call on Mr Chairman to use his good offices to cause for the Irigwe/Rukuba State constituency bye-election to be conducted soonest please”.

A Chieftain of the Igbo in Plateau State ,Chief Achi Chijioke has solicited the cooperation of Nigerian to wisely vote Igbo for president and competence devoid of sentiment towards promoting the unity of one Nigeria .
Achi stated this at the state High court premises while reacting to the challenges of insecurity and lack of unity in the southeast Nigeria on Wednesday in Jos .
He said that it is good for Nigerian to understand that the Igbo have been sideline completely in the leadership zoning rotation in the country .
Achi Chijioke urged Nigerian to vote Igbo for president of Nigeria in the forthcoming general elections because Peter Obi is the solution to the insecurity and food problems bedevilling us as a people ,we want people to consider his pedigrees in managing the affairs of Nigeria .
According to his explanation ,many Nigerian are dying and they can’t afford square meal because the hardship is too much ,”APC government have mess up the country by destroying the progress of united common wealth we enjoy in the past .
He stressed that ,you can’t say Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba are not ripe to governed this country but what we are soliciting from fellow compatriot is to give Igbo the chance to the leadership of this great nation .
Achi noted that we appealing to Nigerian voters to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and pave ways for rotation of leadership to let peace reign .
He emphasized that the Igbo are more united now saying that people should understand that in politics which is a dirty game we most accommodate each others differences and i believe Igbo know what they’re doing .
Achi admonished the activities the IPOB would soon fizzle out and can’t stand the test of time so we are calling on Nigerian to disregard them .
An Abia born businessman ,Chief Joseph Agwu Igwe said that the problem with the Igbo is that they’ve not find their root causes of why there are so many challenges ,you see the Yoruba ,Hausa they use their teamwork to encourage themselves to national politics .

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN Major General Ibrahim Ali has said teachers play significant roles in inculcating discipline and mentoring youngsters towards a safe and secured Nigeria.
Major General Ali stated this today while declaring open a 3-day workshop organised for teachers of Command Secondary Schools within 3 Division area of responsibility.
General Ali who doubled commander OPSH, noted that for peace and security of the people to flourish, there must be a good anchor on our children’s education.
This he said can be achieved through the teachers’ input which becomes the student’s output. He also noted the significance in re-equipping the teachers with the requisite knowledge necessary to produce the right and envisioned generation of law abiding citizens.
The GOC however lamented the growing number of youngsters involvement in criminalities, drugs and cultism,and appealed to the teachers to be watchful and ensure stringent measures are taken to arrest the menace.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Acting Director, 3 Division Education, Colonel Nicholas Achikasim noted the significance of the workshop in capacity building of teachers and to reawaken, refresh and sharpen the teaching skills of the participants for the overall benefit of the students and society in general.
The event which drew participants from the 5 states under 3 Division was also attended by Principal Staff Officers at Headquarters 3 Division, the Chairman Plateau State Secondary Board, Secretary Universal Basic Education, Plateau State as well as President Command Secondary School Jos Old Students Association.

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has praised the Security Forces for rescuing kidnapped Victims in Wase Local Government of plateau state ,and ordered the forces to immediately confront attackers threatening the lives of people in villages around Bokkos Local Government Area.
Lalong in a statement dated 10th Oct,2022 , signed by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor , Makut Macham and made available to journalists in Jos,Governor Lalong described the recent spade of attacks on some villages leading to loss of lives as unacceptable, said the attackers must be fished out and not allowed to go unpunished.
He further said on Saturday 8th October 2022, gunmen attacked Kuliyas Village in Butura, Bokkos killing 4 persons including the village head.
This is coming after other reported isolated killings in other villages of Follo, Karara, Bokkos, and Mangor as well as the kidnap of some students at All Nation’s Academy who were eventually rescued by security forces.
Meanwhile, the Governor has commended security forces whose combined efforts together with Vigilante and hunter groups ensured the rescue of 10 persons kidnapped by bandits in Bashar, Wase Local Government.
He praised the prompt action of the Police, Operation Safe Haven and community watch groups who gave the hoodlums a hot chase and ensured that all the kidnapped persons and other stolen items were recovered.
The Governor says this level of criminality must be addressed wholistically by the security agencies in collaboration with the traditional and community leaders leveraging on the structures of community policing and vigilante groups.
He warns criminals that his administration will not allow criminals to return the days of darkness to the State under any guise.
Governor Lalong sympathised with the families of the victims and assured them that those behind the attacks will be made to pay for their actions.
He also called for vigilance among the citizens and timely passage of intelligence and information to security agencies to proactively prevent such attacks.
General Faruk Yahaya has approved the conduct of promotion board exercise for Master Warrant Officers to hold in 3 Division Nigerian Army Jos.
The Board which is an annual event to select qualified Master Warrant Officers for promotion to Army Warrant Officers is scheduled to start on Monday 10th October 2022.

The Irigwe Chiefdom in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state has honoured the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army who doubled as Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH), Major General Ibrahim Ali for his selfless service and untiring efforts that have brought peace on the plateau.
The award was given to the Major General Abrahim Ali at the weekend by the leadership of the socio-cultural group, the Irigwe Development Association IDA, during the annual Irigwe cultural day celebration, the OTU RIGWE 2022 held at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, in Jos, Plateau State.
Speaking before the award presentation, the Chairman IDA, Prince Robert Ashi Dodo said the award was to appreciate the GOC/Commander OPSH and his troops for their immense contributions to the growth of peace, unity and harmony among diverse communities in the state.
He revealed that the activities of the OPSH in recent past had drastically ended the incessant attacks and criminalities carried out on innocent citizens.
He noted the wrong impression the people of Irigwe hitherto had about Major General Ibrahim Ali has been eroded by his pragmatic leadership style and uncommon peace initiative.
Prince Dodo noted the remarkable commitment of the GOC/Commander OPSH to unite the diverse ethnic groups leading to peaceful coexistence now enjoyed by all, adding that the award was necessary to celebrate the icon of peace and development in Irigwe chiefdom and indeed Plateau state.
Prince Dodo further commended the GOC/Commander OPSH for providing relief materials and approving solar borehole to victims of attacks.

The Chief Of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has charged Commanders at all levels to intensify Warrior ethos and regimentation in the Nigerian Army towards creating bonds, cohesion and discipline required for successful military operations.
The COAS stated this during declared open a seminar on Intensifying Warrior Ethos and Regimentation in the Nigerian Army organized by the Department Of Transformation and Innovation Army at Headquarters 3 Division Jos.
The COAS said with the myriad of complex security challenges bedeviling the country and the enormous responsibility it brings, the Nigerian Army will continue to review its tactics and techniques in order to come up with strategies to overcome the country’s adversaries.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Chief of Transformation and Innovation, Department of Transformation and Innovation Army, Major General Charles Ofoche stated that the aim of the seminar was to sharpen the fighting Spirit of troops and boost the tenets of basic soldiering, strict adherence to the customs, traditions and ethics of the Nigerian Army to enhance troops patriotic posture to defeat adversaries.
Gen Ofoche posited that the department remains the hub for creative thinking and ideas for the Nigerian Army and charged participants to make good use of the opportunity to tap from the wealth of knowledge of resources person and refresh their memory on regimentation and warrior ethos as pillars of military profession.
He said the Army profession has no place for cowardice and urged personnel to rise up to security challenges by completely annihilating the enemies of the state.
Delivering their lectures separately on “Regimentation as a Critical Enabler For Combat Efficiency in the Nigerian Army” and “Enhancing Warrior Ethos in the Nigerian Army for improved combat effectiveness”, guest speakers, Brigadier General Hassan Lai (rtd) and Brigadier General John Temlong (Rtd) said the primary function of a soldier is to fight and defeat the enemies of the state.
The lectures posit that, integrity, professional competence, transparency, teamwork, ethical performance as well as mental, physical and emotional attributes are necessary threats that reinforces warriors ethos.

Speaking to our correspondence in Jos, Barrister Bawa SAN, maintained that the people of the constituency are going to vote out Idris Maje out of the seat of the Federal House of Representatives because of what they referred to as his abysmal failure in providing the people with dividend of democracy.
According to him, ” my people are now asking some question of the lack of dividents of democracy within 16 years of Idris Ahmed Maje as their Representative without any concrete thing to show for it since 2007″
He further added that with his experience as a former director of legal services at the Independent National Electoral Commission he deserved to represent the area better.

The electorates in Wase Federal Constituency in the State have lamented over what they called “poor representation by the deputy speaker of the House of representative at the National Assembly”.

He also revealed that the electricity poles linking the headquarter of the local government has been damaged , ” the result is that the people of the community now stayed in darkness for over a year.
Expressing their grievances and the reasons for decamping, the people believe that they have been marginalized and deprived of the dividend of democracy since inception of the system because of lack quality representation
According to him, the q four Districts in the constituency namely Wase,Kadarko, Lamba and Bashar are now complaining of neglect and suffering due to bad road network to the Villages.
The Federal Electoral Wards in the Constituency included Bashar, Danbiram,Gudus ,Kadarko, Kumbong and Kumbur.
Other villages suffering from lack of roads to move their farms products to market are Kuyambana,, Mavo,Nyalum/Kampani, Saluwe, Wase-tofa and Yola
Villages under state Wards in the Constituency who are completely disconnected from other parts of the state are:
Danbira, Kuyambana,Garkuwa,. Mallam Adamu ,Mavo, Gimbi/Pinau, Kumbur and Kumbong.
Similar villages where no accessible road are Wadata,Wase-tofa. Lamba ,Saluwa,Yola waka Gudus. Gaji,Kampani,Nyalum and Yuli.

He however thank UNESCO , for setting aside every 5th October, of every year to recognize teachers worldwide for their tireless efforts in bringing and impacting knowledge in our children.
Lalong represented by the Commissioner for Higher Education, Elizabeth Wapmuk said the government has not fail to pay her teachers as at when due ,as it’s been speculated in some quarters by some people who stocked in trade of mischief and blackmail .
Stressed that that governor lalong administration has been update in the payment of workers in the state,as the welfare of the state workers has been the top priority in his programs.
Governor lalong commended the teachers whom he described as Noble and their names will ever go down well in the anals of history.
He charged them to continue putting their best to ensure our children get the best training and knowledge they deserve for the development of plateau state and Nigeria at large.
The Director General, Nigerian College of Accountancy, NCA, (ANAN), Dr. Friday E. Akpan, has lauded the Commander 3 Division who doubled the commander Operation Safe Haven and Sector 3 Commander C. S .Adamu for keeping the college and it environs safe.
Dr.Akpan was speaking during courtesy call on Major General Ali at Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Rukuba, Plateau State recently.
Dr. Akpan said his visit to the OPSH Headquarters was more of a thank you visit, adding that the NCA has not suffered any security breach over the years because of the tight security offered by Officers of the Special Task Force.
Emphasizing the high-profile nature of the College and the Association, the Director General said ANAN is a premium brand of choice, a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and that the College host international students, besides the students that attend the College from all parts of the country.
Dr. Akpan also said that the College was involved in capacity development and therefore wished to collaborate with the OPSH in this regard.
Responding, the GOC/OPSH Commander, Major General I.S. Ali, who described the NCA as one of the prestigious higher learning institutions in Nigeria, said that security is everybody’s business, and called for improvement on timely sharing of information.
Major General I.S. Ali while praying for the relationship between the OPSH and the College to improve, promised to continue to provide security to the NCA.
In a related development and in furtherance of the Director General OPSH, a courtesy Call, on same day, was paid on the Sector 3 Commander of the OPSH, Col. S. Adamu.
Speaking on the occasion, the NCA Director General, Dr. F.E. Akpan said that his visit to Sector 3 Commander of the OPSH was essentially to thank them for effectively policing the College over the past years.
The Director General praised the Sector 3 Command for their role in ensuring that there was no security breach in the NCA, adding that the OPSH, Sector 3 Command should use their security apparatus for better service delivery.
He said: “As we have resumed, the OPSH should reinforce its security,” adding that: “Principally we ask for your cooperation and collaboration in the area of security.”
In his further response, Dr. Akpan said that he would be willing to have further interaction with the Sector 3 Commander,as Col. S. Adamu stressed that he would continue to synergise with the College, emphasizing that the College is too important to be neglected security-wise.

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has promised to support the presidential bid of Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State in 2027 if the governor sheaths his sword and support him (Atiku) in the 2023 general elections. Atiku made the promise in an obviously desperate bid when he met with Wike in Abuja on Thursday in an attempt to patch up their differences, The Nation reports. SaharaReporters earlier in the week had reported that Atiku met with some South-East stakeholders in Enugu State where he promised to hand over to the Igbo in 2027 if the region supported him to become the president in 2023. Both Atiku and Wike’s supporters have been locked in a face-off since June when the former vice president overlooked Wike and picked Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate. Previous efforts to reconcile them had failed to yield any positive result. Atiku even appeared to have decided to ignore Wike, and proceeded with his campaign while the Rivers State Governor and his supporters threatened to have nothing to do with the Atiku presidential campaign. Five of the 11 state governors elected on the platform of PDP are in Wike’s camp, leading to a major crack in the party. However, a fresh effort brought them together on Thursday where Atiku pleaded with Wike to prevail on his camp to join the campaign train of PDP. Sources close to the meeting said the PDP presidential candidate offered to back Wike for the presidency in 2027. Wike was non-committal to Atiku because of past breaches of commitment, it was gathered. According to investigation, Atiku met with Wike behind closed doors at the governor’s personal residence in Asokoro District in Abuja. A source, who was privy to what transpired, said: “Again, Atiku extended the olive branch to Wike. He pleaded with the governor to look at the bigger picture of winning the 2023 poll. “He asked Wike to prevail on his group to join the PDP campaign train. “Atiku promised to be fair to all PDP members despite the differences of the past few weeks which were caused by the outcome of the party’s presidential primaries.” Another highly-placed source said Atiku offered to “support Wike in 2027 if he gives necessary support to him in the ongoing campaign. “Wike was not forthcoming and he avoided an outright commitment to Atiku’s request to be part of the PDP campaign team. “He told Atiku that he would go and consult with his team and get back to him. So, he has kept Atiku in suspense again. We don’t know what the governor and his strategists will say.” A source in Wike’s camp said, “The governor wasn’t excited about the 2027 poll prospect because he made the Igbo a similar offer in Enugu a few days ago. “The major challenge which Wike felt Atiku did not address was trust deficit. Our camp is of the opinion that Atiku doesn’t walk the talk on any agreement or issue because of pressure here and there. “This crisis would not have reached this level if Atiku had kept faith with London talks and unwritten agreement with Wike. Our group will soon meet on the latest overtures from Atiku.”
Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has congratulated Chairman of the APC in the State Hon. Rufus Bature as he marks 60 years, describing him as a man of integrity, competence and reliability.
Lalong who attended a thanksgiving service to mark the event at COCIN Church Kufen, Barkin Ladi LGA, said the celebrant is an epitome of humility who has demonstrated capacity to work with people from all backgrounds particularly at the grassroots level.
The Governor said Hon. Rufus Bature who was one time Member of the Plateau State House of Assembly and Secretary to the Government of Plateau State among others, has exhibited high sense of patriotism and resilience in serving Plateau State and Nigeria over the years.
He said 60 years in the life of a man calls for celebrations particularly for someone who rose from a humble background to work hard and by God’s grace rose to political prominence.
He commended him for serving his family, community, and humanity with all his gifts, talents, and resources as well as ensuring that many indigent people are assisted while many children go to school.
Lalong asked Rufus Bature to continue to be a loyal, committed and kind person he has been over the years particularly through their political journey spanning many decades.
He said “We suffered with Rufus during our persecution by the Obasanjo government over our stance against State of Emergency in Plateau State and our refusal to illegally impeach former Governor Joshua Dariye. Our seats were declared vacant and we were rendered very poor but we stood together despite the inability of the Governor to take care of our families as agreed. After our travails and in the course of our ordeal we lost some of our colleagues.
We are grateful to God that he saw our suffering and decided to reward us with the positions we hold today when we decided to join the APC. Rufus is a reliable and trustworthy person and that is why I appointed him the Secretary to the Government and he later contested and was elected Chairman of the APC in Plateau State. I know he will deliver our party to victory not only in the State but in the Presidential elections”.
He regretted that despite their sacrifices some politicians are spreading false and toxic narratives against the Government alleging that Plateau heritage is being mortgaged by the APC, a situation he described as very unfortunate.
In his Sermon, guest preacher Rev. Gyang Pam, Provost, Gindiri Theological Seminary reading from Luke 12:13-21 cautioned people against paying attention to worldly acquisition that are temporary to the detriment of eternity.
He said no matter what anyone accumulates, he cannot take anything after death, but will rather have to account for his or her deeds before God.
Rev. Pam said the celebrant has continously done his best to look after the interest of others in the society particularly the underprivileged. He urged him to continue in this line of service to his people and humanity in general.
The celebrant, Hon. Rufus Bature said he was very grateful to God for creating and sustaining him over the past 60 years and lifting him up from a humble background to a place of note in society.
He recalled his struggle in life and thanked God for the good and bad times which he said helped in building him up to be able to take up higher responsibilities in Plateau State and the nation.
Bature specifically thanked Governor Simon Bako Lalong for his unrelenting friendship and commitment to service which he said attracted him to join the progressive movement in 2015 leading to his appointment as the first Secretary to the Government of Plateau State from Beromland.
He said Governor Lalong has also brought projects to his Constituency including the Legacy Project (Special Hospital) which has been designated as the site for the proposed Federal Orthopedic Hospital for the North Central Zone among others.
There were goodwill messages from CAN Chairman Plateau State Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo, Chairman Barkin Ladi LGA, and Gwom Rwei Barkin Ladi, HRH Edward Gyang Bot who all appreciated Hon. Rufus Bature for his service to the community and the Church.
They advised the people to participate actively in the political process and shun all rhetoric that causes division and hate.
Governor Lalong of Plateau State has urged politicians in the state to put the general interest above their personal party interest before , during the elections,and to avoid any thing that will jeopardise , the peace, security and unity of plateau state and by extension, Nigeria just to win election.
And add that without peace and stability in the state and Nigeria in general, there will be neither democracy nor room for any politician to canvass for votes or aspire to lead. We must act with utmost responsibility and caution because despite political differences, we are all Plateau citizens and shall continue to remain brothers and sisters.

Governor Lalong urged the youths to shun all forms of actions that are inimical to conduct of peaceful elections such as thuggery and violence. Nobody should deceive you into believing that you are relevant or you can be made rich through violence. Think about your future and reject those who hide their children but recruit the children of others to carry out political violence on their behalf. Our administration has demonstrated that it is committed to providing opportunities for youths through empowerment and job creation. That is why I challenge you to take advantage of empowerment programmes rather than participating in political violence.
And assured stakeholders that the Government under his watch will ensure that the rights of citizens, political parties and their candidates freely sell their manifestos and canvass for votes as enshrined in the law are protected.
It’s therefore important that we do not allow the challenges of the moment to stop us from highlighting and thanking God for the tremendous successes we have achieved over the years. In this regard, we pay special tribute to those who fought for our independence, those who nurtured it, and all those who are doing their best to sustain it. We should continue to do our best to ensure that the sacrifices of these men, women, youths, children and people of various backgrounds do not go in vain.
“However, those who want to use politics to cause chaos and disharmony will be confronted by the security agencies that are empowered to maintain law and order. Those who also want to cause trouble through fake news, hate speech, and incitement should be ready to face the law.”
Lalong lauded Nigeria as a great nation with abundant human and material resources comparable to very few countries in the world.
These blessings according to lalong have passed through different attempts to harvest them for the good of the citizens who are diverse in ethnic, religious, social and political orientations. Our diversity which in itself is a major resource has also put demands on managing our endowments to the point that many question whether it is a blessing or a curse.
However adviced further that we should never forget that Nigeria’s diversity is in its greatest strength and not its weakness. Therefore, we should devote more time, energy and resources on things that unite us than our differences of origin which in most cases we have no control over. We should equally devote more energy towards ensuring that people are treated fairly, justly and with dignity that is guaranteed by our constitution. Plateau State under our watch presents this template of managing diversity.
The Governor who is celebrating his last Independence as the Chief Executive of the state, said the occasion is therefore very nostalgic for me and one that reminds us about the journey so far in carrying out the mandate you gave me. Many of you will recall that when we came on board, we were confronted with many challenges that threw our State into a near state despondency and hopelessness.
“From the high level of insecurity and unrelenting attacks on our people, to the huge months of unpaid salaries, pensions and arrears as well as abandoned projects littered across the State, we knew that the task was a huge one. However, I am happy to say that despite the many setbacks we were confronted with such as global crash in oil prices, criminal attacks, Covid-19 among others, we have been largely successful in restoring Plateau State to its status as the Home of Peace and Tourism.”
He praised his Administration can of being one of the few across the country to vigorously pursue the completion of abandoned and inherited projects started by previous administrations including Government of a different political party.
Rather than allow the common patrimony of Plateau people to rot away under the guise of political ego, we vowed to complete many of the abandoned projects that we inherited for the benefit of our people he stated.
” While handling the inherited and abandoned projects, we also initiated many new projects with most of them completed, commissioned and put into use while others are on the verge of completion. Our administration believes that this approach is the best way to sustain development and defend the Plateau Heritage. In the coming months, we shall be commissioning some of the completed projects and others soon to be completed. “
“Some of them include the New High Court Headquarters Complex, General Hospital Mabudi, General Hospital Kanke, Kalong-Angwan Dadi Bridge (the longest bridge in Plateau State), the Shendam Internal Road Networks, and the Potato Value Chain Processing Centres in Bokkos, Barkin Ladi, and Mangu. Work will soon resume on the Legacy Projects located across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State. Our commitment is to ensure that we complete ongoing projects before the end of this administration.”
He take this opportunity to specially appreciate all citizens for their support and collaboration towards the restoration of peace and security in Plateau State over the years. While we do not claim to have achieved total success in eliminating criminal attacks, we have substantially overcome the wanton destruction of lives and properties through ethno-religious crises and other senseless attacks on our people. Thanks to our gallant security personnel, we have been able to tackle criminals and crises merchants who hitherto wreaked havoc on our State.
” On a day such as this when we are commemorating the independence of our nation and projecting into the future, we must reflect on the role that each of us must continue to play towards ensuring that we consolidate on the peace, security, unity and development of our dear State and Nigeria at large. When we all perform our responsibilities, then we can be sure of a great nation that we all yearn for.”
He urged citizens to ensure they actively participate in this process of elections in order to determine their destiny. Staying aloof will not yield any positive results but only lead to the emergence of leaders that may not be the best for the polity.
” I charge our citizens to continue to have faith and hope in our State and country as our prospects are very bright. The challenges we currently face will not last forever and with unity of purpose, we shall overcome them within the shortest time possible. We should continue to love one another and worth to build a society where peace, justice, unity and equity shall reign.”

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has commiserated with Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase and the entire people of Bashar Chiefdom in Wase Local Government over the demise of his elder brother and Rekna of Bashar, HRH Alhaji Adamu Idris, Second Class traditional ruler who died at the age of 98.
Lalong while condoling with the people of the Bashar Chiefdom and the Deputy Speaker, said the death of the Royal Father who has been on the throne of his forefathers for 59 years is a great loss to the entire State.

Lalong said during his long reign, the late monarch played a great role in maintaining peace within his domain and also contributing to the progress of Wase Local Government, Plateau State and Nigeria in general.

It was terrific, electrifying, and frightening at Ire Akari Baptist Church, Lagos on Sunday as The Makers’ Praise Foundation held the 14th edition of the Makers’ Praise Concert tagged “Fountain of Life”, Genesis 2:7, Psalm 36:6.
The event which gathered some of the best gospel artists in Nigeria had thousands of worthy shippers across the globe both on-site and online in attendance.
In his welcome address, the Convener of the Makers’ Praise Foundation, Rev Babajide Taiwo appreciated God for the grace to organise the 2022 edition of the Makers’ Praise Concert.
He thanked the father of Champions, the Pastor of the Church that hosted the program, Rev Olu Emmanuel Adisa, and his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Adisa. He appreciated the Chairman of the Deaconate, Deacon Kehinde Adebayo and the Church Secretary, Mrs. Ogundeji, and all members of the Church for their warmth.
Rev Taiwo read John 1:3-5 and noted that God is always ready to bless lives. He said, “What we want to proclaim is the light of God and the light of God is the Fountain of Life.”
He prayed that all those that were in attendance and thirsty shall be satisfied with the living water through Christ in Jesus’ name.
The Praise Foundation in the first session ministered through “Fountain of Living Water and Jesu Lorisun Iye”.
Thereafter, Akin Adetunji and Sunday Adepoju ministered before the Makers’ Praise Foundation team presented “Only You”; Orisun Gbami Mo Ti De”; and “Jesu Olomi Iye”.
The father of Champions, Rev Adisa in a brief exhortation thanked God for the grace to witness the 2022 edition of the Makers’ Praise Concert and the mighty move of God through the Concert. He said talking about the Fountain of Life, “We are talking about the source; a place where there is an unending flow that gives life and freshness to the people. In Him, there is life eternal. Jesus is our Fountain of life” he concluded.

Rev. David Gbemisola prayed for all the Covenant partners who are the major supporters of The Maker’s Praise Foundation that was championing the Father’s search for true worshippers across the globe.
While addressing journalists, the Convener, Rev Taiwo said that The Maker’s Praise Foundation started in 2009 with the theme “Created for Glory. (Isaiah 43:7)” adding that 2022 makes it the 14th edition.
He noted that the Foundation’s cardinal mission is “to champion the Father’s search for true worshippers. ( John 4:23); gather men and women to join the Heavenly creature in the worship of our creator with understanding and purposefulness. (Rev 4: 4-11); and be a platform for the restoration of the tabernacle of David in Churches (Amos 9: 11).”
He said that the 2022 edition of the Makers’ Praise Concert tagged “Fountain of Life” has been glorious and prayed that the 15th edition in 2023 shall be greater.
He appreciated all members of the team, invited guest ministers, guests, and all the Champions of Ire Akari Baptist Church. He thanked profoundly, the Covenant Partners for their support for the program praying that they shall be richly blessed and the Fountain of Life shall manifest Himself in their lives.

Any political party or politians that have any dealing with any of these sets of security body will assumed to have committed an offence , any may not be speared ,but made to face the law for trying to undermine the security of the state and the country as whole.
The Plateau State Police Commissioner, Bartholomew Onyeka handed down the warning in his remark speech during
sensitization meeting held with Security Agencies, Political Parties, Chairmen , Secretary, Political aspirants and Electoral
Commissioner, held at the police officers mess, in jos Plateau
State 28th September,2022.
The police boss said as the ban on Public campaign by political parties is lifted by INEC , it’s imperative for the parties and politians to note and be strictly guided by the fact that all the quasi security outfits that were established by the state government and local communities, which are operating under different nomenclature , structures , and orientations have no legal rules under the Electoral Act,2020 and within electoral process.
The police Commissioner further add that to ensure that they are not in any way or manner used by any political party or community actor for any role during the Electioneering Campaign and other electoral processes in count down to 2023 General Election which will amount to act of illegality and potent threat to national security which could be dangerous to our nation’s democratic interest.
CP Bartholomew Onyeka said the IGP of police Usman Alkali Baba has echoed it loudly that during the campaign, periods all local security heads groups ,VGN , Hunters Association, Neighborhood Watch, and other quasi organs have no legal role to play in the electoral process and are therefore prohibited from partaking in any of the political Activities.
“I repeat,on no account should any of the above mentioned groups be seen anywhere near political campaign and rallies in any part of plateau State .
“This is to inform all and Sundry that local security groups are hereby outlawed from being part of any political Activities”.
He directed all commanders ,PMF Commanders , Divisional Police Officers ,and Heads of Police Tactical Units ,are under strict instructions from the police Force Headquarters not to tolerate any forms of political thuggery , intimidation ,demostration of violence conduct /clashes that may jeopardize the prevailing peace from any political party , politian or member of the public in their areas of responsibilities.
He further directed them to arrest and immediately prosecute any preson in possession of firearm or dangerous weapons during campaign and rallies in their respective jurisdictions.
He However instructed the National Resident Electoral Commissioner ,and the leadership of all the Political Parties in the state ,are mutually mandated to come up with a campaign timetable that will address possible conflicts both in dates. ,time, and venues.
And directed all the political parties in the state to forward their political campaign timetable to the office of the Commissioner of police for onward transmission to the office of the Inspector General of Police(IGP) immediately.
Warned criminal elements whose perception of democracy is the application of violence to have a rethink as the law enforcement under the watch of the command is committed to dealing firmly with such characters within the dictates of the law and in furtherance to President Buhari’s desire to bequeath a legacy of entrenched democratic valves to our beloved nation.
He assured the citizens of plateau state of optimal preparedness of the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to support INEC,in ensuring a peaceful electoral process that will manifest in credible outcome of the 2023 general election.
In their separate response, INEC, acting residence electoral Commissioner Clara Okpe commended the force for the meeting , which she described as timely considering the voltile security situation in plateau state in particular and the country as a whole.
Mrs Okpe hope that at the end of the meeting ,resolutions must have been reach on the security situation in the state during and after the election.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army (NA) and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN(OPSH), Major General Ibrahim Ali has warned troops that the Nigeria Army will deal heavily with any personnel caught involved in illegal arms and ammunition deal.
The GOC made this known today 28 September 2022 during the inauguration ceremony of participants of Arms and Ammunition Storeman Refresher Course 1/22 at Headquarters 3 Base Ordnance Depot, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Jos.
Major General Ali said, the scourge of insecurity in the country must be tackled through training and retraining of personnel to enable them effectively secure the lives and property of law abiding citizens.
He averred that, the Training was organised in line with the COAS vision of having “A Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions Within a Joint Environment in the Defence of Nigeria”.
He emphasized on the need for troops to seek knowledge for a better living.
The GOC further said that the course will enable armourers and potential armourers to be versatile in the area of arms and ammunition management within the Nigerian Army and their units.
He urged the participants to justify the confidence reposed on them by their formations/units by giving their best during the training.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander,3 Division Ordnance Services, Brigadier General SA Alamu, said the training on Ammunition and Storeman Refresher Course is aimed at training the participants on both theoretical and practical roles and responsibilities of an armourer.
He further charged the participants to be very adaptive, hardworking, open minded and ready to learn.
The total of 30 participants drawn from various units and formations within 3 Division were inaugurated and the course is expected to last till 4 October 2022.

Ladies and Gentlemen, of recent, the former Speaker of the House of Reps, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, made a categorical statement that, “a vote to APC by a Christian is a wasted vote”. Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara and Hon. David Babacir Lawal, people know to have worked hard for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to emerged APC Presidential candidate.
Unfortunately, after rejecting their wise counsel, the Presidential candidate went ahead to picked a same faith for Vice President, they immediately raised an observation knowing fully well of the current situations and the secularity challenges that is bedeviling our country.
Against all odds, what they were doing is to keep our unity and the peaceful coexistence of our great nation, Nigeria, as a multicultural and a secular nation.They were never hypocritical nor, economical with words, but rather they were straight forward in presenting their facts to all that cares to hear, as people that know the system.
We considered these personalities, as heroes of the moment.As Coalition of Christians on the Plateau, we wish at this juncture to bring out analytically, the persons of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong and that of his Chief of Staff, Yakubu Dati.
Simon Bako Lalong as a seasonal back stabber/lier , who’s records have shown that he has betrayed and back stabbed so many amongst them are;His Excellency Alh. Abubakar Atiku, who sponsored his campaign in 2015, equally stabbed Alh. Yahaha Kwande, who introduced him to Alh . Abubakar Atiku to him.
He did not end at that, but also betrayed and stabbed Rt. Hon . Rotimi Ameachi, by immediately rushing and accepting the APC Presidential DG Campaign for Ahmed Tinubu without due consultations from his boss for his selfish gains.
He also stabbed the former Governor of the state, Chief Joshua Chibi Dariye, who despite all odds made him the Plateau State Speaker and also the state Governor, but yet, Lalong wished Dariye to remain perpetually in prison custody.
The same Lalong spear headed the removal of Comr. Adams Oshomole as APC National Chairman for the fact that, he is a die- heard supporter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
But today, the same Governor Lalong is reaping from where he did not sown let alone to know that, he did not support either Senator Abdullahi Adamu neither Sen. Almakura for the current party seat.
This is a person that does not believe in equity, fairness and integrity, but rather believes that money can give him everything he wants , even if it means picking monies from State coffers.
Even Her Excellency, Hon. Dame Pauline Tallen, his kins, who gave him the last life line of becoming a Governor by daring the powers that be for INEC to declared him in winner in 2015 General Election, he back stabbed her and fought her in an attempt to stop her becoming the minister she is today.
The list of Lalong’s back stabbing in inexhusive as Latep Dabang that gave Lalong the Political name and relevance recently falls victim of his back stab ,and given a bad name in return as to reciprocate his good gesture.
Since betrayal has become part of him, it was clear to us that, even Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu the APC Presidential candidate, can still remember how Governor Simon Bako Lalong, fought him from becoming the candidate.
After declaring out rightly that, Plateau APC delegates belong to Hon. Rotimi Ameachi, he went ahead to make sure that, none of the Plateau delegates voted for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but with the help of the Plateau state APC gubernatorial aspirants that Bola Ahmed Tinubu got Twenty- six votes, out of the fifty- one delegates from Plateau.
Despite knowing that these aspirants were the ones that loved and worked for Tinubu, Lalong ensured that, none of them is a member of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and he proudly beat his chest to said he did that ungodly act.
Considering the PCC appointment, six persons were from the southern zone of Plateau, while five out of the six, were all from Shendam his LGA and his ethnic tribe Geomai.
Only one is from Wase LGA in the person of Deputy Speaker House of Representative, Rt. Hon Maje, and Only two each were from the central and northern zones of Plateau that produced the highest registered voters in the state and still determine who wins the Governorship of the state.
Looking at it further, none of the APC founding fathers from Plateau state were considered as member of the PCC, and even those that spear headed the primaries of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, were excluded from the list, which to Lalong, he considers a payback period of not obeying him when he instructed them not to vote Tinubu at the primaries.
All that Lalong wants from Tinubu is his money and the political appointment, if the party wins the presidential ticket.
Amongst many of Barr Simon Lalong serial betrayal, he was rescued by His Excellency, Bola Tinubu, when they were arrested by EFCC, along side with others because they were nabbed for extortion of billion of naira which was found with them yet it was easy for Lalong to defected from AC to PDP and later to Labour party without recurs to inform His Excellency, Bola Tinubu, despite that he was fighting Tinubu not to succeed in his Ambition.
How can such a serial betrayal be trusted, this is a big question ❓ that needs an answer.
Our warning to PCC is not to rely on such character.
How can Lalong proved to us that he loves Buhari, while all those that suffered for president Buhari in Plateau state were not giving any appointment for the eight years of his tenure? Rather, the person that called president Buhari a Boko Haram member is today rewarded on the plateau with the appointment of DG of Industrial Training Fund (ITF).On the side of Yakubu Datti, there is a saying that, “Birds of the same feathers flogged together”. While he was the PRO Aviation, he made sure Buhari as then CPC presidential candidate were denied landing access at the Lagos international Airport.
Yakubu Dati betrayed Dariye that brought him up for Jang, also betrayed Jang for Lalong, meaning he can betray and back stabbed anybody for the quest of money and power.
No wonder, Lalong brought him closer as a chief of staff to enable them perpetrate there seasonal character of betrayal and dirty dealings.When compared with such a personality of Rt. Hon .Yakubu Dogara, Dati should know that, he does not have the effontry to castigate Rt. Hon. Dogara on social media for his well articulated position of Muslim – Muslim ticket and even calling it an “embers of Religious Crisis” has Dati forgotten what that ticket is already brewing in Nigeria?
As Christian vanguards of the church, who believe in the course of Hon.yakubu Dogara and Hon.Babacir Lawal, we want to put it in categorical term to Yakubu Dati that, we are disappointed in him and his boss.
This singular act exhited by Dati bearing mind, if Dati is truly a Christian in the first place, not to talk of asking, if he is truly an Ecwa member as he claimed to be ? Because for Lalong his boss , already his self seeking recognition has disenfranchised him from the Pope and the entire catholic faithful due to his careless and unguided utterances.
In conclusion, to us as coalition of Christians on the Plateau, there is no comparison between light and darkness or between Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara vs. Yakubu Dirty. As for us, we want to tell the whole world and calling on all Christians in Nigeria and Diaspora and even our good Muslims friends that believe in this course, to pray for the course of Rt. Hon. A Federal High sitting in Jos Division on Monday 26th September,2022 has adjourned to the
15th December, 2022 for ruling and delivering of judgment on a suit filed by Amb. Yohanna M.D Margif challenging the Independent Electoral Commission ,INEC and Dr Patrick Dakum all of Labour Party primaries conducted on the Plateau State gubernatorial elections ahead of general polls in 2023 .
Justice Dorcas Agishi of high court No1 ,after entertaining to the brief of argument represented by the plaintiff counsel ,Barr.Munir Barau Abdullahi were he said ,we have adopted all the processes and the matter have been adjourn to the 15th of December, 2022 for and judgment .
He said ,”we came to court praying that our client Ambassador Margif is the authentic candidate of the Labour party for the governorship in Plateau state having contested the party primaries and won and he was given the certificate of return of form EC9 by INEC.
According to him ,”the way and manner you can substitute somebody by laws shall be through voluntary withdrawal or death and by mutual agreement but thank God that he is still alive .
However, Barr Abdullahi further explained that the letter they sent to INEC are two letters of withdrawal and affidavit of withdrawal so we are saying that this affidavit didn’t contain the name of our client been that his name that is in that affidavit is wrongly written as Yohanna Yilwan not the other way round as it contain in the affidavit .
Muniri Abdullahi further stressed that ,in the law of Nigeria, you can’t force any name on me ,mind you ,you can’t make mistake in the spelling of your own name .

He stated that they brought affidavit dated 2nd August,2022 to the court ,we applied for certified true copies from INEC and we discovered that there is another affidavit which is dated 5th August ,2022 and the second letter dated is there including two affidavit and one dated 2nd &5th that is currently before the court .
Barr.Abdullahi said the one dated 5th was accompanied with the first letter of the 2nd ,adding that can you write a letter on the 2nd and attached documents dated 5th at the same time ,is not right .
He noted that the membership card the Labour party submitted to INEC is not the same membership number on the affidavit of withdrawal that is why we are approached the court that my client didn’t withdraw as speculated ,so when you talk of suspension of our client from LP, that doesn’t have a constitutional backing that the ward might expelled a member of a political party .
Abdullahi further said that it’s is only the national Secretariat that have such power ,however, that isn’t the reason why we are here, and what they have done is not in law of the electoral law.
He expressed shock that till this moment ,Dr Patrick Dakum has not file Labour party nomination forms and form EC9 of the LP was completed and submitted by Amb. Margif ,we are yet to see Dakum filling the form .
The only document of Dr. Patrick Dakum that is before the court , is the Labour Party form because is the name of Ambassador Yohanna Margif that is till on the INEC portal.
If a matter is in the competent court of jurisdiction, parties are expected to mentained status quo, you cannot continue parading yourself when the matter is in the court as Dr Patrick Dakum is currently doing.
Muniri however insist that the Purported signature of withdrawal form, is not from my client Yohanna Margif, and the name is not his name , because you can’t make mistake in spelling your own name .
Dakum contested election under APC,we have certified true copy in the court file ,can he come again in LP against electoral law.
You must give lNEC 14 days notice so that if there is any problem you should have address it.
In separate interview with journalists,the Counsel to the 1st & 2nd respondent, Barr G.M Kuttu revealed that there are three application before the court.
The first is the interlocutory injection,filed by the plaintiff,
Motion to allow them bring further affidavit , that we opposed on point of law as party direction guarding election matter didn’t provide for any affidavit let alone further affidavit.
For that ,it was a strange process not known to party direction, and urged the court to strike out preliminary objection .
We raised the issue of jurisdiction that Margif didn’t participate in the primary election that brought in Patrick Dakum as Candidate of labour Party.
Kuttu said on the strength of Section 84 sub14, does not allow the plaintiff to bring in any application that Margif having been not contested with him ,and co- aspirant with Dakum.
He said the letter signed 2nd August,2022 ,is the letter signed by the plaintiff applicant Yohanna Margif of voluntary withdrawal ,his picture is there , signature and all the documents he owned up to.
Documents don’t lie when you have somebody who chose to be mischievous , say one thing in the morning and another in the after noon will referred to such person as Chameleon who change in time and season .
He said the eyes of Justice, cannot be close to track that at the end of the day ,the court should be able to see ,and insisted that the plaintiff Ambassador Margif withdraw.
It was in line of the electoral law that the meeting of primary election was conveyed on the 5th August, which saw the emergence of Patrick Dakum as Governorship Candidate of Labour Party in the state.
As far as we are concerned ,all the relevant laws of withdrawal of the plaintiff, Ambassador Yohanna Margif where complied with ,if they choose to pay game,the court will see through it .
However,the matter has been adjourned to 15th December,2022 for ruling on an applications and Judgment on the substantive matter.
On the issue of forgery raised by the plaintiff,he alleged not to have signed the withdrawal letter dated 5th August,2022.
He stressed that the letter dated 2nd & 5th August ,2022 ,is not authored by the 1st & 2nd respondent .
And stressed that there could be some factors influencing the action of the plaintiff ,propelling him to change like chameleon .
“But the fact of him to have withdraw is not in doubt.”
On the 2nd August,2022, that is why INEC supervised the primary election on the 5th August,2022,.
Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has commiserated with Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase and the entire people of Bashar Chiefdom in Wase Local Government over the demise of his elder brother and Rekna of Bashar, HRH Alhaji Adamu Idris, Second Class traditional ruler who died at the age of 98.
Lalong while condoling with the people of the Bashar Chiefdom and the Deputy Speaker, said the death of the Royal Father who has been on the throne of his forefathers for 59 years is a great loss to the entire State.

Lalong said during his long reign, the late monarch played a great role in maintaining peace within his domain and also contributing to the progress of Wase Local Government, Plateau State and Nigeria in general.

He said although the exit of the Royal Father is painful, he will continue to be remembered for the good legacies he left behind and the wonderful memories of unity, love and selflessness he demonstrated on many issues.
While urging the people of Bashar, the Deputy Speaker and entire family to accept his death as the will of God, Lalong urged them to continue to pray for God to forgive his sins and grant him eternal rest.
In line with the activities laid down to mark Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day Celebration by the Plateau State Government, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong has attended pre- Independence day celebration prayers.
Governor Lalong alongside top Government functionaries from the Executive, Judiciary, and the Legislative Arms of Government as well as members of the State Security Council and members of the public were at the St. Peter Cathedral Anglican Communion, Bukuru Dioceses, the venue for this year’s 62nd Independence Prayer and Thanksgiving Service to commemorate this years Independence Day celebration.
Governor Lalong was represented at the Prayer and Thanksgiving Service by the Secretary to the Government of the State (SGS) Prof Danladi Abok Atu accompanied by the Chief of Staff to the Governor Mr. Noel Dunjur, Head of Service Engr Sunday Hyat, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Special Advisers and heads of parastatals.
Delivering the goodwill message by the Governor to mark the 62nd Independence Anniversary, he said it was an honor to lead the government delegation to the Thanksgiving service which is the first activity laid down to mark the 62nd independence day celebration on behalf of the Governor who is unavoidably absent as he was part of the Federal Government Delegation that attended the just concluded United Nations General Assembly in New York with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The SGS on behalf of the Governor congratulated Nigerians and particularly citizens of Plateau State on attaining 62 years of self Governance. The SGS said it is a privilege to be part of those alive to mark this year’s Independence Day celebration as he said that alone is enough reason to be thankful to God.
The SGS said one of the key policy trusts of the rescue administration, is partnering with religious organizations which is why the Governor has made it a duty to meet with religious leaders in the State every month to discuss issues that will move the State forward, as he further appreciated the church for bringing useful inputs into Governance as he said the challenges bedeviling the Nation can only be overcome by a synergy between Government and religious bodies .
Further reiterated that the synergy must be extended within the arms of Government and appreciated the security agencies for the sacrifice they make in upholding the territorial integrity of Nigeria and also protecting the life and property of citizens in the country.
Governor Lalong called on citizens in the State to partner with the Government to reap the dividends of democracy and assured Government’s commitment to delivering on its mandate.
In response to a plea made by the Bishop of the Bukuru Diocese on the need to return schools, particularly mission schools to their rightful proprietors,the Governor assured the Bishop and the church that the government has set up machinery to return the schools as committee has been set in place on the matter.
Regarding to the forthcoming General elections, the Governor delivered his message of hope assuring the citizens of Plateau State of peaceful, free, fair and credible elections, charged citizens to come out en -mass and exercise their franchise in a peaceful and orderly manner as they choose their next leaders.
In separate remarks, the representative of the Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, the Gbong Gwom Jos, Jacob Jang Baba all congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 62nd independence day celebration, Thanking God for his mercies and protection over the years, they prayed for God’s continuous guidance and protection.

Rev (Dr) J.B.N Zhumbes, Bishop of the Anglican Communion Bukuru Diocese, on the topic “Independence, the pharaohs and Passover Night”, Taking his reading from the book of Exodus 12:1-14. Bishop Zhumbes prayed that the 62nd Independence of Nigeria would come with liberty and freedom just like the Israelites were liberated from the land of Egypt, as he said the Nigerian Nation is faced with the Pharaoh of insecurity, corruption, and other negative vices that are trying to pull the nation down, but he is hopeful that the country would overcome the challenges currently being faced as no problem is beyond God.

The donation of the equipment to the hospital ,is part of the association’s preparation for its National Convention slated to hold on Saturday 24th September,2022,.
The symbolic presentation of the hospital equipment to the management took place on Friday September 23rd, 2022, at the Conference Hall of Robert Garlow House, Plateau State Human Virology Research Centre (PLASVIREC) in the Plateau Specialists Hospital Jos.
While presenting the equipments, the National President of Dengi Old Students Association, His Excellency, Professor Abdullahi Shehu Yibaikwal, said, “as you know, this is an old students association, but we are very ambitious and we have a vision. Our vision is to impact lives and we recognize what the government has given us and we felt we have a responsibility to give back to the society what government has given us.
He further said :
“So we organised this visit to the hospital as a symbolic gesture to commend the government for what they are doing in this direction and to call the attention of the health sector in particular and to the Specialists Hospital in Jos so that, the services of this hospital can impact our people not only in Plateau State, but Nigeria as a whole.
He further stressed that, “The spirit behind what we done is more important than the amount we sank here because even we had brought one billion naira here, it is meaningless to say it, since we did not do it for publicity. We did it with good intention to draw attention so that, other people should do what we have done and they can even do better”, he said.
Yibaikwal, called on government and the private sector as well as spirited individuals who felt and were concerned about the health of their people should contribute even little because health is wealth and sympathize with the situation being faced in this Specialists Hospital no matter how small.
Appreciating DOSA for the kind gesture, the Chief Medical Director of Plateau Specialists Hospital Jos, Dr. Filimon Golwa, said this was the first time , association such as this was donating to the hospital saying, “whoever invest in humanity, invest in God”.
He further enthused: “We promise to use these equipments to the service of humanity”.
The Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, expressed joy that, itsa a reawakening challenge to all who cherished Plateau State and appealed that people should donate no matter how small to the hospital irrespective of tribe or religion for them save lives.
At the event, commendations came from the Chief Medical Director of Plateau State Hospital Management Board PSHMB, Dr. Dajom Y. Dakwak, Plateau State Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Bapigang Williams Audu amongst others.

The Legal Team of the Peoples Democratic Party, Plateau State Chapter headed by S.G Odey ,Esq has debunked the insinuations from some uninformed qarters that the recent JosNorth/Bassa house of Representatives election tribunal judgement against the People’s Democratic party (PDP) will not in any way have any effects on the Candidates of the party.
They added that the explanation is imperative because the party has observed that opponents and some mischief makers are peddling the falsehood that PDP and its candidates may not be on the ballot for the 2023 general elections as a fallout of the recent Tribunal decision delivered on Friday, 2nd September, 2022 in respect of the Jos North/Bassa House of Representatives bye-election.
As against this background,the legal team of the party led by S.G Odey has hasten to clarify that the decision of the Election Tribunal relates only to the primaries conducted for the Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency bye-election which the tribunal erroneously nullified by relying on the Justice Kunda judgment which purported to justify the unprecedented exclusion of PDP from participating in the 2021 Local Government Council elections.
He further said,Please note that the Justice Kunda Judgment is now on Appeal before the Supreme Court.
We wish to state without doubt or equivocation that even though the judgment of the Election Tribunal is being appealed with very meritorious Grounds of Appeal, it has no bearing whatsoever on the nomination and qualification of candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party Plateau State for the 2023 governorship and legislative assembly elections.
It is pertinent to enlighten PDP members, its teeming supporters and the voting public of the following facts:
1. The primaries that produced Hon. Musa Agah as the PDP Candidate was conducted under the 2010 Electoral Act while the primaries that produced candidates for the 2023 elections was conducted under the 2022 Electoral Act.
2. The 2022 Electoral Act excluded ALL statutory delegates i.e. mainly EXCO members of any party from being delegates during the Congresses that produced candidates for the 2023 elections.
3. The Chris Hassan led EXCO which is mischievously rumoured to be illegal, emerged through a democratic and transparent process, and there are no known legal impediments (except self-serving extrapolations by merchants of fortune) hindering them from performing their constitutional duties.
4. The PDP and its Legal Team have always been proactive and had envisaged the possibility of using underhand tactics to stop the obviously preferred PDP candidates from winning the 2023 elections, and took steps to forestall such. Knowing the capacity of the opponents of the PDP for mischief, impunity and deliberate mis-information, the National Secretariat of the party pleaded with the Chris Hassan EXCO to step aside for the period of the Congresses and allow a Local Organising Committee it constituted to oversee the process.
5. The congress which produced the ad hoc delegates of the PDP during the Ward Congresses (unlike the other party which did not conduct any congress to elect delegates) were duly organised and supervised by the Ward Congress Committee appointed by the National Secretariat of the party and went smoothly in over 95% of the Wards. The few complaints that arose from the Ward Congresses have been largely resolved through the Party’s robust dispute resolution mechanism.
6. The 2022 Electoral Act, PDP Constitution and Guidelines for the Congresses clearly indicate the time allowed for appeals as well as those entitled to file such appeals. It is gratifying and re-assuring to note that since Governorship primaries were concluded in May, 2022, there has NOT been a single administrative or legal complaint by any of the noble aspirants who contested with the candidate of the party Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
7. The Election Tribunal did not make any pronouncement as to the status and legitimacy of the State leadership of the Party as presently constituted as being mischievously circulated.
The Party has taken a decision to file an appeal against the judgment to remedy the monumental travesty of justice, and we believe that the Court of Appeal will do a better job than what the Tribunal came up with. We trust that the judgment of the Tribunal will be set aside with victory restored to PDP.
We therefore call upon the electorate and Party faithfuls to remain calm.
Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) plateau state chapter under the umbrella of the Plateau for Atiku Group have disowned the statement credited to former governor Jonah Jang, asking the national Chairman of the party, Dr Iyiorchia Ayu to resign.
According to them, neither the Party nor the stakeholders authorised any such position, and that what the former Governor’s statement is his personal opinion and that of the group he represents.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the group, Prof Shedrack Best, the group frowned at the former Governor’s penchant for making statements that are not in tune with those of other stakeholders of the Party in the state.
Jang has been a member of Governor Nyesome Wike’s group which has been having a running battle with the National Chairman of the party since Wike lost the Presidential primaries to former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
“Our former governor Sen Dr Jonah Jang has made remarks contrary to the position of the stakeholders and its time we make clarifications.
We dissociate ourselves from the position of the former governor. He did not speak for us neither did he for the party in the state. We stand by the Presidential candidate of the PDP.
As loyal party men and women, we encourage peaceful resolution of the impasse and not actions from senior members of the Party that will fuel it out of proportion. We therefore, stand by the National Chairman and our Presidential candidate .
While we pray for amicable resolution of the crisis for the party to take its bearing and prepare for victory, we are not happy that those who are in a position to offer constructive counsel and solutions are adding to the crisis”.
The group called on the public to discountenance the statement of the former Governor saying,” Sen Jang alone cannot be the face of the party in the state, nor does he represent the stand on Atiku Abubakar’s candidature and his acceptability in the state.
He is not our spokesman and he cannot decide for us.” Plateau people are united behind Atiku Abubakar and will proudly participate in all organs and activities of the campaigns leading to the victory of the Candidate and the Party.
Professor, Other Culprit who assaulted female police officer has been arrested. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc has strongly condemned the grievous assault of a female Police Officer, Inspector Teju Moses, by her principal who is a Legal practitioner and human rights activist, Prof. Zainab Duke Abiola and her domestic staff comprising the house maid, one Rebecca Enechido and a male suspect currently at large.
The IGP directive is contained in a press statement dated 22nd September,2022 , signed by the force public relations officer CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi ,and made available to the journalists in Abuja.
Zainab Duke, an Mbaise born activist, grievously assaulted her orderly in company of some accomplices on Tuesday 20th September, 2022 at her resident in Garki, Abuja, due to the refusal of the orderly to breach professional ethics by carrying out menial and domestic chores at her house.
The IGP has directed the express prosecution of the arrested suspects who are currently in Police custody, as the preliminary investigation shows overwhelming evidence of culpability on the part of the Professor and her domestic staff.
The IGP has equally tasked the investigative team to ensure that the fleeing suspect is arrested and made to face the wrath of the law.
It is pertinent to clarify that the suspect, Prof. Zainab, who name-drops the IGP, his family members, and other officers in the top hierarchy of the Force has no acquaintance with the Police in any form as erroneously peddled on social media.
The Inspector-General of Police who similarly ordered the withdrawal of all Police personnel attached to the Professor, expressed consternation at the fact that an individual who claims to be an advocate for Human Rights could stoop so low to violate the rights of another individual, a police officer tasked with ensuring her protection.
Ahead of flag off campaign for 2023 General Election,the All Progressive Congress (APC), plateau state chapter has unveiled it Director General (DG) campaign in the state.
The unveiling of the party campaign head in the state was held at the Township Stadium on Wednesday 21st September,2022 , with Professor Sebastian Maimako as Chairman and other of the campaign group.
Professor Maimako an academian ,and graduate of Accounting and For and the immediate past V.C of the university of Jos.
It could be recalled that the All Progressives Congress APC and generation Next Plateau 2023 Guber candidate in Plateau Dr Nentawe Yilwatda had appointed Prof Sebastian Maimako an academic and a Professor of aii, counting and finance as its Director General campaign council.
Our TellWell Correspondent reports that thousands of APC loyalists and supporters trooped out on Wednesday and gathered in various groups around the stadium to receive the governorship Candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.
Some of the personalities at the Stadium includes the Director General of the Industrial Training Fund ITF Sir Joseph Ari, Deputy National Secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister, Festus Velnoe Fuanter, most Candidates of Senatorial, Federal house of representatives, State houses of Assemblies, Local Government council chairmen ,APC Youth and woman leader, amongst other important personalities.
Dr Nentawe who spoke at the occasion pledged to utilise potentials of youths for growth, progress and development of the state if elected in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
His words “We will address the State’s economy and 10% of the State IGR will be deployed to address issues of the vulnerable groups like the youths, women, and people living with disabilities.”
Dr. Nentawe also said that “We will be transparent, free, fair and run an all-inclusive government while the youths will be mentored appointed as commissioners and other positions.”
He said stringent measures would be taken to tackle State for their support to the party and for believing in him and other APC Candidates.
The state chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC Hon. Rufus Bature who earlier spoke at the occasion warned members of the party against anti party activities, stressing that the APC is a party of discipline.
He lamented that reports reaching them has it that some persons in the party are in the APC but are plotting to vote other candidates from other political parties, we have identified them, I call on the people of the state to support the party at all times.
Bature further said that “we have the confidence that we will win thea

He described the unveiling ceremony of the DG Campaign and others as “Overwhelming” adding that the huge crowd is an indication that the APC flagbearer will win the State, in next year’s Governorship election, We were overwhelmed with the turn out, he added.”
Responding the Director General of the Nentawe Yilwatda campaign team Prof Maimako pledged to go to every part of the state to campaign for the Candidate.

Joshua Chibi Dariye who led his wife, political Associates and well-wishers cut across political lines on a courtesy visit to the Government House Rayfield which mark his first visit to the State since his release from incarceration following a presidential pardon granted to him and others by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Receiving the former Governor on behalf of His Excellency, the Secretary to the Government of the State (SGS) Prof Danladi Abok Atu said he was standing in for the Governor, Government, and People of Plateau State to receive Sen Joshua Dariye who he said has passed through a phase in life, only the strong hearted can endure.
Governor Lalong through the SGS thank God for the safe return of Sen Joshua Dariye and also appreciated God for the life of his family, particularly his wife who had to endure his absence while he was incarcerated.
Governor Lalong further appreciated the former First Lady for being a pillar not just to her husband but to the State, by serving as a member of the Governing Council of the Plateau State University Bokkos a task which she has not failed in carrying out even with the emotions of her husband’s absence.
Governor Lalong prayed for God’s guidance and protection over Sen Dariye and his family, and then used the opportunity to also assure the former Governor of his administration’s commitment to building on the unity of purpose laid by his predecessors.

Sen Dariye said visiting the State after a long time away, he was impressed by the development currently experienced in the State and charged the Governor to ensure the completion of projects initiated by his administration and call on citizens of the State to unite for the growth and development of the State.
There are strong reasons to believe that, Zibah Pharmacy, the new Pharmacy that is expected to be established soon in Jos, the Plateau State capital, may have been laced with sad tales and huge emotional feelings. This medium just gathered.
In an investigation and interview conducted by Reporter, relating to Zibah Pharmacy and those behind its possible establishment, we gathered that, the owner is currently blinded by the feeling of saving society from, a situation of “Non-availability of drugs”, laced with a positive drive to make Zibah Pharmacy, the last bus stop for such search for Prescribed Medical Drugs.
It was gathered in the course of the interviews conducted that, one of the major reasons for moving to establish Zibah Pharmacy, may not be unconnected to the death of the uncle of Miss Hephzibah Redziebene Michael Gulu, whom the family lost because they could not find a prescribed drug to save her uncle’s life.
In a chart with Hephzibah Redziebene Michael Gulu being the brain behind the pharmacy, she further revealed a sad and emotional story of the cause of his Uncle’s death this way in part.
She said, “Before my late Uncle Mr Joseph Badu Gulu passed away, a medicine was prescribed to us to be bought.
“We searched around and found it only at old Bukuru Park. Unfortunately, it was not up to what was prescribed and we lost him. Frankly, as a result of that, the conception of Zibah Pharmacy came about and today it is in fulfillment.
“The goal behind the move to establish Zibah Pharmacy in brief is to provide healthy drugs, which are fully registered under NAFDAC for Plateau people and Nigerians at large and to make them available to aid speedy recovery of individuals.
“Also, to add to this sad story is the fact that, my Uncle’s death, made us to further understand the effects of lack of adequate First Aid at home, most especially when you have a patient in a hospital.
“During his illness, I constantly remember and sadly too, the day we went to the hospital and we had to wait for hours without any First Aid treatment administered on him to ease his pains.
“Among this are so many other reasons or rational behind Zibah Pharmacy”.
“Like I said earlier during our chat, Zibah Pharmacy would be established to serve the people profitably. We are establishing to also give back to society”.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) governship aspirant in plateau state Dr.Dakon Sarpiya has adviced the people of plateau to vote wisely in the forthcoming General Elections by voting credible Candidates .

Following controversies trailing the authentic candidate of the labour party (LP) Governorship in Plateau State,has been resolved as Dr.Patrick Dakum has been confirmed the party authentic and recognized candidate by INEC.
The confirmation of Dakum as the authentic candidate of labour party(LP) in the state ahead 2023 election is contained in a press release by Dr. Dakum Campaign team dated 20th September,2022 , signed by the media Consultant to Dr. Dakum Comrade Shabul Mazadu,and made available to journalists in Jos, the plateau state capital.
The statement read thus: the governship Candidate under the platform of LP, Dr. Patrick Dakum commends the doggedness and resilience of its countless supporters who did not yield to the discouragement strategy of the propaganda ministers of falsehood of the Plateau State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who are bent on causing confusion in the Labour Party by insisting that the former Governorship candidate of the party, Yohana Margif who resigned and was replaced with Dr. Patrick Dakum, remains the authentic one.
Your stance on social media, calls, visitation and text messages to the governorship candidate have proven your commitment and determination for a better and excellent change of governance on the Plateau, and by the grace of God it would come to fruition.
To put the records straight, Margif was already replaced by Dr. Dakum by virtue of the governorship primary held on August 5, 2022 under the supervision of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, where the latter emerged victorious.
It would be recalled that the Labour Party in a letter to INEC dated 2nd August, 2022 signed by its National Chairman Barrister Julius Abure and the National Secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim, notified the electoral body of the resignation of the governorship candidates of seven states including Plateau, for fresh primaries to be held which were later on done on August 5, 2022.
We will like our teeming supporters to know that the Labour Party recognizes Dr. Dakum as the Governorship candidate of Plateau State and his name is already uploaded on INEC’s list of Governorship candidates of Nigeria.
There is no court of law that restrained Dakum from parading himself as the Governorship candidate.
Yohana Margif is the complainant who dragged Labour Party, Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, and Dr. Dakum to court seeking interlocutory injunction restraining them from substituting him but the court refused to grant the request based on a withdrawal letter from him that is in circulation.
Margif is the erstwhile candidate who now wants the court to restore him as the governorship candidate despite his resignation and subsequent expulsion from the party.
Since the case is in court and it is yet to pass its verdict, the status quo remains unchanged. Dr. Dakum is the candidate recognized by INEC and the Labour Party.
Please count the growling noise of the APC propaganda machines as wailing of retreating soldiers in a defeated battle.
They are not the Labour Party and cannot decide for it. They are not INEC to tell Nigerians who the Labour Party governorship candidate is, and they are not the High Court to pass the verdict disqualifying Dr. Patrick Dakum.

The Women Right Advancement Protection Alternative (WRAPA) ,a non governmental Organisation ,is battle ready to declared total war against Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWG).,
As the body has appointed another body who will be closer to the grass root that would relates with any woman or girl that is reported to have suffered one form of violence or the other.
The program Officer of WRAPA , plateau state chapter, Mrs Ruth Agbo who speaks with this medium at the occasion stated that the aim of launching this “Women of Resilience” are among other reasons to identify and respond to “VAWG” cases in the community, to monitor and document incidence report and intervention in communities and visit families to increase awareness , strengthen trust and provide access to survivors.
Other reasons for the launching of Women of Resilience according to Ruth Agbo , also include step down VAWG knowledge and response learnings to women groups , there by filling in the gaps in formal support for survivors whose option is limited to self driven coping strategies.
She urged woman that are suffering one form of violence or the other, but afraid to speak out, to raise alarm for help.
However,condemned in most cases when some women and girls are not willing to speak out because of fear of societal stigmatization.
Earlier in her remarks, WRAPA Senior projects Officer, Dinma Nwaye said the reason for the launching of the “Women of Resilience” , started as far back as 2020 which has taken her round different states of the fedration to appealed to Community leaders to consider the plight of women and help to abrogate laws that are inimical to Violence Against Women And Girls.

Plateau State Governor and Director General APC Presidential Campaign Council Simon Bako Lalong is optimistic that the North Central Zone will give the Tinubu/Shettima ticket the highest number of votes in the forthcoming elections.
Governor Lalong expressed this optimism in Jos when he received the North Central Zonal Chairman and Members of his Committee on a curtesy visit to the Government House, Rayfield Jos.
He said the party is very strong in the North Central despite loosing Benue State one out of its six States after the Governor left for the opposition party.
He challenged the Zonal Chairman and his members to reach out to all organs of the party in the zone with a view to mobilising and sensitizing the electorate at the grassroots for the success of the party.

Drama eschewed as Eighteen (18) Councillors in Langtang North Local Government Council were alleged to be bribe by Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven to impeached Barr Zulfa Rimven with a turkey council jamboree released .

The secret impeachment which took place at Tim-Tali Motel on Tuesday cleared the Chairman off from all the charges because due process was not observed .
The Elders said that the wards chairmen had earlier expressed reservations to write the council over the composition of the way and manner they were misled and therefore ,we cant recognise any decision taken by them .
“We want to bring to the notice of Nigerians that the APC,from Tarok and Elders totally dissociates themselves from impeachment which is an internal mechanism to be settle not from the decision reached by wards purported agenda of PDP “
“As far as we are concerned, the Chairman is yet to be exonerated of charges levelled against him; we are not going to accept that impeachment decision because the matter is a constitution and wards chairmen failed woefully to explore internal settlement ” .
“We won’t take their firm position on this matter but in due course , we appeal to them to follow the constitution of the party ; they shouldn’t act outside the constitution APC but be assured that the impeachment process is not on course,” Napdon explains.

Oluremi Tinubu informed the Director General that they were at the Headquarters to strategise on the participation of women in the forthcoming campaigns in line with the decision of the APC to carry all women along by ensuring that they play a greater role in delivering the Presidential candidate and other candidates of the party.
She also intimated Governor Lalong of the ongoing mobilisation of various women support groups for Tinubu/Shettima as well as engagement particularly at the grassroots which will prove very crucial to the victory of the APC during the elections.
The wife of the APC Presidential Candidate and wife of his running mate Nana Shettima had paid a similar visit to the National Secretariat of the APC where they held engagements with the National Chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu.
Governor Lalong who welcomed them to the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Headquarters and assured them that the APC Presidential Campaign Council working with the Candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, have put in place a plan for a robust campaign that will deeply involve women and youths.
He noted that women constitute a large voting force in Nigeria and many of them are passionate about the APC and its Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima who have over the years invested so much resources, time and programmes to empower women.
Lalong promised them that the Campaign Council will give them all the support to enable them mobilise women in all parts of the country particularly at the grassroots for the success of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and the APC in general.
The Director General and his guests also went round the Campaign Office to see ongoing work at the Headquarters.
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Plateau State Chapter, Hon. Chris Hassan has lauded the appeal court judgement which restored Laven Joshua Ubandoma as the authentic Chairman of Langtang North Local Government.
The State Chairman, Hon. Chris Hassan was reacting to the appeal court recent judgement and described the ruling as Divine.

The Northern Governors Forum on Monday, 12th September 2022 met with the Northern Traditional Rulers Council in Abuja and came out with a resolution calling for the establishment of State police to tackle security challenges in the region and the nation at large.
Reading the communique after the meeting held at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong said the meeting reviewed the security situation in the North and other matters relating to its development and resolved to support the ammendment of the Constitution to accommodate the establishment of State police.
According to him, this will effectively and efficiently address the security challenges of the region.
The Forum also reiterated its commitment to the development of solar energy in view of the comparative advantage of abundant sunshine in the region.
Accordingly, it was unanimously resolved that 2000 megawatts of solar power be harvested across the 19 States and FCT with a view to harnessing the huge potential of power from solar.
The joint meeting also noted with regret the ongoing ASSU strike which it believes was more punitive in the region as most of the students in the North are attending public universities.
It therefore called on ASSU to cooperate with the Federal Government in resolving the dispute.
The Northern Governors also engaged officials of the World Bank to discuss the level of implementation of the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) and Nigeria for Women Project which are being implemented in five Northern States.
Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos, presided over by Justice S.P.Gang has granted a perpetual injunction order restraining Governor Simon Bako Lalong ,the Plateau State Government and the Attorney General of Plateau state to run,manage the Jos Main Market Authority for flowing the processes of MoU signed with the JAIZ bank for 40 years agreement .
Justice Gang declared that the state government ,Lalong and the Attorney general didn’t follow the due processes of section 7 the fourth scheduled of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria of 1999 as amended under section 3(2) of the LGA 2016 of Plateau State .
He stressed that whether the defendants have the power to run ,manage build Jos main market authority which the agreement was unlawful without complying with the guidelines law .
Delivering judgment in the suit filed by Member Representing Jos North /East Federal Constituency ,Hon Dachung Musa Bagos challenging the MoU signed with the JAIZ bank to reconstruct and build Jos main market authority
declared that any move by the state government to compulsorily build ,manage the market is null and void.
The judge granted an order nullifying every action or decisions taken to run ,manage the Jos main market authority on behalf of people of Plateau state that power to run, manage under section 34,81 of the Plateau state bureau of public procurement law of 2018 is illegal and unlawful .
Justice Gang however issued an order of perpetual injunction restraining the AG of the state, Governor Simon Lalong and state government , their agents, privies, servants or whosoever from making any attempt to hold, administer, use or handover to JAIZ bank or any other purpose contrary to the 1999 constitution, 2017.
The judge held that by section 3(2) of the 7 , Act of 1978, ownership of land in any state of the federation is vested on the governor of the state, and only the governor has the right to grant statutory right of occupancy to any person but he didn’t follow the due processes of sections of the constitution of Nigeria as amended .
Speaking on behalf of the lead counsel ,Barr. Nancwat Durven says ,the Hon Bagos Musa instituted the suit on the 1st August, 2022 challenging the power of the defendants regarding the rebuilding of Jos main market authority which he said the due processes was not followed,and is wrong contrary to the law .
He said we obtained the judgment in our favour which we brought four issues for determination and 7 relieves sought ,however ,the first relief granted multiplication while others were granted in claimant favour .
According to him ,with this judgment in our favour the power of rebuilding of Jos main market authority and the government has been suspended indefinitely and we are of the opinion that the Governor Simon Lalong and state government should follow the appropriate procedure of bidding for the rebuilding of the market .
He said with judgment, as it stand, whatever agreement that most have been enter with any prospective contractor or it agents is null and void and advising that the government should adhere to the rules .
The introduction of Muslim/Muslim ticket by the Ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), ahead 2023 General Election in Nigeria which has attracted general condemnation nationally and internationally ,may not been over soon, as more people continue to see the action by the party , as time bomb waiting to explode our political landscape if argent steps is not taken to correct the abnormalities.

Dalung said every Nigeria are now responding to what APC,has done by their Muslim , Muslim presidential ticket , which they have declared war on the stability of Nigeria as a Nation,and it’s very dangerous experiment that I hope the country didn’t go through ,, because after 2023 , Nigeria will not regain it stability.
He lamented the current state of the nation which the former minister described as in bleeding stage.
“The country is bleeding ,our economy has also collapse, the indices has been admitted by Mr President , Mohammadu Buhari.
And frowned at the recent committee set up by the president to investigate those behind the oil theft in the country.
” My problems with the committee set up by Mr President is that most of the faces I see there represent those who suppose to account for official oil theft.”
Described them as an armed robbers presiding over armed robbers case,I don’t think anybody would be convicted , which is more less the Justice Salami incident where we have committee without report in public domain.

He lamented the lingering strike of the nation university lecturers for more than 6 months now, which he said is a wickedness on the political elites, whose their children and wards attends private schools and foreign universities.
And further decried that , every week we see our leaders attending the graduation of their son/daughter in London,but only come to Nigeria, to say negotiation with ASUU,has collapse which is a pick of wickedness.
“When I was admitted into Government Secondary School Kefi ,my parents only bought me towel , every other things was under the expenses of the government.
So, if I lack the moral audacity today to say I will not negotiate with ASUU,God in heaven will only telorate and leave me to see whether I will repent.
Nobody can convince me why the government can’t negotiate with ASUU,the money will have in this country is enough to meet the demands of the university lecturers twice.”
Dalung further revealed the monumental wastage and corruption going on under the watch of President Mohammadu Buhari administration without any postive steps to arrest it.
“In just one transaction,the Accountant General of Federation,stole 109 million naira ,of which we didn’t know of other transactions, when talking, he was just laughing ,in his mind, he was saying look at these Baboons,we are going to negotiate.”
I must say without an apology that Mr President is not serious ,I am calling on the federal government with strong voice ,he should constitute a more serious committee of Nigerians who are not in government, credible people , Clergy, Traditional Rulers, Youths , Women to negotiate with ASUU ,I am very sure it will work.
The former sport minister however warned the Buhari led government ,if the official of the government continue to negotiate with ASUU, nothing much will be achieve out of it.
“Is just like when we went out for an outreach at Sabo-Rayi some years back ,as we were preaching, this particular man refused to listen to us, when we asked him why,he said this man that is just preaching to us has just finish drinking with us ,why is he coming to preach to us and pass judgement upon us.”
Dalung revealed that he is contesting for the House of Representatives in 2023 General election to represent the good people of Lantang South Federal Constituency on the platform of Social Democratic party SDP.
And stressed that the party currently have a presidential candidate ,who is more or less like Biblical David when the lsrealite demanded for king, they got Saul.When Saul failed them , they went back to God ,and God told them ,go to the house of Jesse, there was king.
He further added that all the great men where paraded,God didn’t act until when David who is unassuming personality came and God asked Samuel to anoint him king of isreal.

A Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos Division on Monday ordered the Nigeria Police Command to pay compensation of 500,000.00 or risks Jail for failure to enforce Judgement creditor /plaintiff ,Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven for truncating his tenure of office .
The vacation Judge , Justice S.P. Gang has ordered the Plateau State Commissioner of police command to pay the compensation for sealing the office of Executive Chairman ,Hon.Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven which he saddle with the duty to enforce rules of law .
“You would recalled that sometimes in June 2022 ,Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven approached the court seeking for interpretation of Judgement obtained as the elected chairman of Lantang North LGA and tenure expired 10th Oct ,2022,” .
Dr Joshua Ubandoma Laven filed a suit through his Counsel ,Barr.Niri Darong challenging his illegal removal as the chairman of Lantang North ,and Judgment was entered in his favour and the Commissioner of police ,CP Bartholomew Onyeka ordered that for insecurity the office should remain under locked and key .
It’s was gathered that base on the Judgement an imposter ,Barr.Zulfa Rimven was brought to occupied the office to run the affairs of the council without him been an elected chairman of Lantang North LG.
Justice Gang said that by constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, the Commissioner of police acted contrary for breaching the law of enforcement handed to him by our laws .
The Executive Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council of Plateau State , Hon. Joshua Ubandoma Laven has approach the court to complete the remaining of his tenure of office as chairman of Lantang North LG which was truncated by INEC who organised fresh LG election when his tenure is till running .
The judge ordered that the Claimant,/creditor be allow into office any moment from now.

The Commander of the Special Task Force Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) and General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Ibrahim Ali,has declared open the Joint Peace Summit organized to sensitize communities in Pleateu state on the need for peaceful coexistence.
In his keynote address, the Commander noted that active participation of citizens in security of their communities is necessary to ending criminalities and senseless clashes on the Plateau.
He noted that the achievements recently recorded in curtailing attacks and farmer/herder clashes must be consolidated and warned that any attempt by crisis merchants to reverse the gains of these achievements will not be tolerated.
The General Ibrahim suprised by the large attendance, noted that there is time for everything in life and the time for peace on the plateau has come.
While commending Justice Daniel Longji (Rtd) led 26-man Committee formed by OPSH to implement the recommendations of the 36-man Committee on Peace,General Ali said, the seminar was organized to enlighten the citizens on sensitive security issues towards agreeing on the way forward.
He further noted the significance of the event in upscaling the efforts of OPSH in ensuring remarkable peace and unity on the Plateau.
Earlier, the Chairman 26-man peace implementation committee, Justice Daniel Longji (Rtd), in his opening remarks said peace is a catalyst for progress and development.
He described the sensitization seminar as another strategy to achieving peaceful resolution between communities and religious groups.
While lauding the untiring efforts of Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN in ensuring lasting peace is achieved across board, Justice Longi (Rtd) revealed that the seminar would help participants build capacity for immediate and future engagements.
Addressing the participants, the representative of Governor Plateau state, Director of Administration, Plateau Peace Building Agency, Mr Gayi Timothy Gayi commended OPSH for its sustained programme on peace and unity of the state. He urged aggrieved persons to forgive one another and work together on the path of peace.
Highlight of the event were paper presentations on Trust and peaceful core existence by notable resource persons and group photograph.

Sadly,under the administration highlighted,Atiku never been loyal to any PDP past president, he wasn’t loyal to Obasanjo,Yaradua,Good luck Jonathan. He betrayed them by decamping just to fight against them. Now he want governors to be loyal to him and support his own ambition never. PDP caucus knows that Atiku wouldn’t have been in PDP by now, had it been he lost to Wike. He wouldn’t have supported wike. This is a man who told Goodluck Jonathan to step down, that is the turn of the north to rule in 2015, he didn’t even stopped there,he joined a second force (APC ) to ensure that north grabbed power in 2015. Now he has returned to PDP to contest without considering that it is the turn of south to succeed buhari. My question is this.. Has he lost that sense of justice and fairness he preached in 2015 to ensure power is shifted to north?
So those people you are counting on as PDP members in south east, south south and south west are not with Atiku despite the fact they are still in PDP. You may think wike fight against Atiku is between both of them. Wike is just the arrow head, Atiku will be disgraced in 2023 election mark my word. I hope you heard that governors from south east and other PDP members from other region with ortom held meeting with peter obi few weeks ago at wike’s residence
